  • Maine Stein Song begins at 8:17. Stirs my blood.

  • Ok is there any strings in this symphonic wtd?

  • @ahtartersauce101 Just string bass

  • This concert was the the last time my Grandma saw me play, and also the last time I saw her...she loved music

Incredible concert, so glad this up here, thank you for posting it. I will miss Symphonic Band and Mr. Farnham soo much. SOOO much.

  • I emailed Chip, maybe he'll tell me. :-)

  • Um, no, I know what the Stein Song sounds like. :-)

  • The 2nd song is the Stein song

  • Ok, I'll bite: what are they playing? It's not something they did while I was with them...

  • If you're refering to the Stein Song, they play that for their encore at 8:20. I'm not sure about the first song though.

  • Their second song was the Stein Song

  • The first song we're playing is Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral by Wagner.

  • @WhisperingCryptic Ah! So, something I should have recognized, but not something so blatant I should be embarrassed for missing it. Thanks. :-)

  • By the way, glorious sound. Good job.

  • The first piece is Wagner's "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" (trans. Calliet) with some of the Timerlane HS Brass playing at the end, then the Stein Song.

  • @SarekOfVulcan This is Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral by Wagner.

  • @mstrswrd06 Answer was supplied below, but thanks anyway. :-)
