God damn, I can't understand why the cylons have to be evil. I saw every season, every movie, even caprica, but there are no convincing reasons to lead a war.

Were as with Cain, we see that she cared about only one thing, to destroy the cylons. She totally threw here oath out the airlock when she abandoned her civilian fleet.

I think the battle of New caprica was just as intense but the best battle was the last one in which the rescued Hera. This ship took such a beating it's amazing she held to gether for 4 years. Her death was honarble like that of Pegasus.

Its not that, its that BSG is more suitable for orchestral music than new age rock or w/e you want to call it. BSG is very dramatic, hence the very dramatic music.

But I do understand where you are coming from for what its worth.

@Helge129 The original was inspired by Star Wars, but in terms of modern day media the RI series outstrips the prequals at almost every level. With all that said the last season was dissapointing and I am still a bigger Star Wars fan. (even though BSG is my favorite SciFi show)

@dickjpaige BG started it's existence in the late sixties when GAL wrote a script called "Adams Ark" which eventually mutated into "Battlestar Galactica". So really it started before SW.

@sonofcy The basic premise came before Star Wars (debatable because Lucas was writing a script around the same time) But the show probably would have never been created if it hadn't been for Star Wars. "Inspired" was a bad word to use.
