    Your motion control is very smooth for hobby servos. Have you considered NEMA17s with EasyDrivers for microstepping? Have you done forward kinematics to know in advance your accuracy? What about taking moment of inertia calculations? Too many questions! :)

  • @aggrav8d Yep, I actually have a second version, using NEMA17 with gearboxes and microstepping. In my forward kinematics I have a bug somewhere I can't find, so I only use inverse kinematics and kind of guess a good speed. Moment of inertia would be really neat, especially since now I'm learning about kinematics in one of my classes, and now know about manipulator jacobians. I do have more info now about it on my build log, now posted in the description
