LOOK PEOPLE!! :58 is a prime example of why her voice is not the same now. Yes Whitney did drugs...yes she smoked...but she also gave 150 fucking percent at every performance. She always sang live never lip syncing. She probably did not use her voice in a proper way for many years...but she sang her fucking heart out. Give her a break and appreciate the gifts she has given and what she has yet to give.

shes been singing correctly for the past years no vocal abuse only drug abuse no excuse for what she sounds like now! yes i appreciate her for giving us greatness but she made the standard high so when she came back i was expecting that same standard or more not less.

Do you even know what you are talking about....and do you even hear how incredibly selfish you sound??? Geeesh!! Who give two shits about what YOU were expecting. It is what it is and she still has greatness to give. She certainly doesn't have to live up to anyone's expectations or standards. Take it or leave it, and stop living in the past. I would say that the biggest factors are some degree of vocal abuse/overuse and the heavy smoking. The drugs probably had the least effect actually.

In France, we know why Whitney is called THE VOICE. She is one of the greatest singer of our time. Her voice is over today but she's a living legend. No one sing like she used to. Mariah and Celine are great but they are not at the same level Whitney was at her peak. France love you Whitney
