That call was bullshit. He clearly had both skates on the ice until impact, his hands and elbows were below shoulder level, the puck in fact DID touch the blade of Havalt's stick, no interference, no elbow, no head contact, no roughing, and no charging. Kronwall got a 3 game suspension for a bullshit call

That was an Illegal hit in more ways then one. It earned Kronwall the nick name of Kornhole in the Chicago area. Havlat didn't have possession of the puck so it was first interference, then the elbow to the head is an illegal hit, Kornholes feet came off the ice during the hit.. violation #3. Hits like this should get Kornhole banned from the league before he kills someone deliberately. Watch it in slowmotion and you will see what I mean.

Second, Kronwalls feet came off the ice DURING the hit. The contact caused his feet to lift up, he didn't jump then hit him.  Third, he clearly hits him with his shoulder, not an elbow. Maybe Havlat should keep his head up and maybe this would've never happened. Watch it in slowmotion and you will see what I mean.

Well, I don't think it was dirty, it was just a timing play as the annoncer says, but he just mistimed it. NBC described it better, these annoncers are morons. They describe it perfectly, but then say they think its not illegal, doesn't make much sense to me. And yes, he does need to learn to keep his feet on the ground as well. It was good to see the refs got it right though. If it happened this year he would have been gone for 2 or 3 games. he has to make smarter choices.
