  • I keep a list of their products with me at all times and I do boycott anything Koch related. Their goal is to take over our government and privitize everything for profits for themselves and wealthy corporate owners and their puppet polticans. They funded many extreme rightwing propaganda groups and buy the airwaves to distort the truth about President Obama achievements despite their obstructionism.

  • I don't recognize any of those products, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had their hands in products sold around here as well.

  • My Teamster brothers make Dixie Cups and I support them. Please don't boycott union goods.

  • Impeach congress. Impeach retrospectively (GWB Dick Cheney and friends), impeach the Supreme Court 5, Operation Constitution: get all your local, county, state, and federal reps on the record as upholding and defending the US constitution or not. Those who refuse to sign, impeach them. Impeach them all. Throw them all out. This system is broken and it cannot be fixed. The FED, the CIA- all unconstitutional. US Day of Rage coming soon. Be ready.

  • I like it, but next time talking would be better. I love opera, but not when you're dropping bombshells on me.

  • Good video. However, their retail products are only a tiny fraction of the overall influence these people wield. So boycotting their consumer end products is more or less a symbolic act, which will not hurt their bottom in the least. They have their fingers in everything, as you pointed out. Moreover, the entire political system has been so corrupted by mega corps, that it has become endemic + almost impossible to change from within. Democracy in the US is effectively dead.

  • @55ella2007k yeah, i've started to realise the system is good in theory but incredible flawed when people don't follow the rules or behave unethically, which in a capitalist economy is the biggest oxymoron i can think of ... it's kind of funny when you think about it.

  • tom goes to the mayor???????????

what does tom have to do with koch? did i miss something?

  • These guys need to be destroyed.

  • Vanity Fair too!? Too bad, it is such a great magazine.

  • I've already looked into everything they have their filthy hands in and have stopped buying their crap. Thanks for getting the news out Ralph, before your new governor declares Michigan a police state.

  • KOCH BROS....GET A ROPE!!

  • Angel Soft? Great. So on top of keeping politicians in their pocket they produce cheap toilet paper that my dog can vaporize by sniffing it. DAMN YOU KOCH BROTHERS!!

In all seriousness i never bought Georgia Pacific products anyway, but i've got a few co-workers who will be interested in the lists and the boycott. I'll pass this on to them.

  • I hate corporatism but I don't believe it is the epitome of evil, neither do i think that boycotting will be an effective weapon against it. In cases like Wisconsin's union vs. M & I bank, it was very effective. But generally it hurts more than helps. Kochs also employ thousands of workers. e.g. I absolutely hate WalMart and their practices and I try to avoid purchasing anything from there but a complete boycott would hurt even me. They're still the largest and cheapest retailer in the US.

  • They will stay on this earth FOREVER!

  • nice piece! what pricks....

  • Why can't the american people wake up to this corporate takeover??????????

  • @Fringe111 Corporate interests employ psychologists and sociologists to discover how to manipulate human beings and motivate them toward their own purposes. The vast majority of the population is uneducated and/or too busy watching celebrities on TV and in the movies/other media to bother to know what's really going on.

  • this music sucks!

  • @endo1ver LOL you don't have the money. play with your steam engine.

  • Way to go Ralph. My respect and thank you for posting this video.

  • We live in a corporate world. To avoid every company that is causing damage to us one way or another is impossible, you would have to boycott everything. We all know these guys are screwing up the environment but unless you are living under a rock it is well established that any climate change that is occurring is not man made. The whole "Global Warming" thing is a total hoax brought to you by the same assholes that own all the corporations.

  • @UtwoBed If the corporations want the public to believe the Global Warming theory, why are the Koch Brothers spending millions of dollars, paying people to speak against the Global Warming theory?

  • @Ralphdraw3 Could be a number of reasons. These people don't agree on everything and there is a certain amount of in-fighting. Maybe he's not getting a cut that satisfies him. Another tactic they commonly use is "controlled opposition" which is similar to the "False Flag Attack" tactic. Create a problem then be there with the solution you wanted. It's like the two party political system, they fund and control both sides while maintaining this illusion of a difference. Divide and conquer.

  • @UtwoBed Wow... Just... Wow... I don't know what else to say.

  • @UtwoBed Your comment made about as much sense as an Young Earth Creationist arguing for the theory of Evolution! Seriously, you are confused big time!

  • @Viracocha711 Sorry if critical thinking is over your head. Maybe you've been drinking too much fluoridated water.

  • @UtwoBed To deny that a contributing factor in the phenomena known as Global Warming is human generated, is to deny the truth. Seriously, Utwo. Just follow a diesel truck around for a couple of hours, and watch all the emissions that come out of the truck. Then, multiply that by a billion or so. Everyday. And that's just trucks. Cars, smaller trucks, trains, ships, buses, factories, mining, logging, and more. Come on, you can't deny that all that going into the atmosphere has no effect, Can you?

  • Comment removed

  • @arklat I don't deny it I'm just saying it's insignificant compared to natural causes like changes in the Sun. Warming is one thing, toxic emission another. From a purely libertarian view, nobody can "own" the water or the air. Therefore everyone should be required to return it to the environment in at as good a condition as they got it before they used it. This could be done by properly applying existing laws. leaving it to government can only be a disaster like everything else they do.

  • @UtwoBed > I'm sorry. If history teaches any lessons, the lesson history has taught us is that left to police themselves, corporations have failed. Miserably! They cannot be entrusted to regulate themselves. They just don't have the motivation do "Do the right thing." applying the existing laws IS leaving it to the government regulatory agencies. They are far from perfect, but, they are a deterrent to wholesale recklessness on the part of companies that engage in the type of business the Koch's.

  • @arklat I disagree. I think it's the failure of government not so much the corporations. They are run by people and such is their nature. It is the responsibility of government under the rule of law, to keep them, us, in check. I think it's our Constitution that is a miserable failure. Not enough checks and balances to maintain the rule of law from being perverted by the evil nature of men. Government is a natural magnet for those seeking money and power, and it failed to stop them.

  • That means YOUR house - if it's worth anything. Or ... it could help to house multiple families, if you have the space, comrade.

The fact that you (innocently?) join in on this bandwagon - instead of working to expose how overall, the American public is being 'raped' - makes you somewhat of an accomplice, as far as I am concerned.

  • Both parties are co-opted by Wall Street and the banksters. There is no difference. You are attacking the one side, which only upholds the other - which is just as bad ... maybe even worse, due to their stealth. No - Koch is no worse than it's opposite (liberal) equal. The goal of the finger puppets in CONgress, is to collapse the nation and thus aid their owners - the Banksters - to buy-up hard assets with worthless devalued dollars for worthless pennies-on-the-worthless-dollars"

  • maybe you should put a proper list in the doobilydoo.

  • :D whoa...... nice, dude

  • May the boycott go viral against the Koch dirtbags.

  • Excellent video, ralph, you got some great pictures. I'm in for the boycott.

  • @bulbheadmyass Thanks! I didn't know that Koch Industries made so many darn things!!

  • @TheDavidson1932 Great comment ! Koch suckers... love it.

  • That's it, no more Brawny for me.

  • Union Now!

  • is that all their products? I want to boycott them, but I don't buy that shit anyway.

Same reason Glenn Beck is finally gone. He makes fox no money. Bad for business (commercials) only low life rednecks watching it.

Money is what rules the world. The people need to use their power!!

  • hmmmmm.. Keynesian.... perhaps.....but you still have to deal with the problem of stagflation, which crippled that economic system in the 70's. and also, you'll have to explain to people (people like O' Reilly or Glenn Beck) how massive spending during low times of productivity will help the national economy.... I actually see how it CAN work, but it often seems confusing and contradictory.

  • Buy Seventh Generation products! Less money in these bastards' pockets!

  • Do conservatives snort Koch or suck Koch?

  • They are one of the most dangerous, rampageous companies to scrounge the life out of people. Utterly disgusting. I don't believe in Hell, but I sure wish one existed for those who bring ruin to the lives of those now and those generations to come.

  • Hey, If you contribute to Walker's campaign, your dropout alcoholic son can also get a $80k job. Who needs education and teachers? Not the Republican party or their contributors.

  • lol, you guys haven't solved the questions and problems that apparently I can't do. xD

so I'll ask again: if what I THOUGHT was good economics (Reaganomics, supply-side economics, trickle-down theory, etc.), then what WILL work?

  • Comment removed

  • @swiftmachine1515 Keynesian mixed economies work. The Scandanavian countries have overall done FAR better than us over the last 50 years. It is only the recent concerted effort of US / Chicago school economists pushing these countries into privatizing state run infrastructure that we're seeing the problems as the world deals with US economic collapse.

Use the common wealth for the common good so individuals can meet their goals. Provide a level playing field where everyone has a chance.

  • They look very happy at 2:26, as if they have just eaten cake.

  • He's a fucking Orc! What else can I say!

  • Haha, they also screwed their own brothers when buying out their stock. They have no soul.

  • Vanity Fair (napkins)! Phew, I can give those up.

SO glad I don't have to change my brand of toilet paper!

  • @zippyman818 They missed Wrangler and Lee jeans and western wear their owned by Vanity Fair as well .

  • Excellent Ralph. I'll share the shit out of this one. Important! Thanks...

  • great video i would like to see a clear image of the products for home repair tho, couldn't read a single one.

  • then what's your solution?

  • oh yeah.......

  • @swiftmachine1515 What?? The national debt ballooned under trickle-down Bush43 and Reagan. Wages have been stagnant or falling. And then, of course, we have had the worst recession since the great depression; cities and states going bankrupt; 20 million to 30 million unemployed etc.. ; millions in foreclosures. All during this time CEO pay and bonuses sky-rocket. You think that is good??!@@##$??? or fair?????

  • @Ralphdraw3 - Okay ... so what of Obama? How has he improved anything? Surely he must have had some impact on all of these things (falling wages, recessions, bankruptcy, unemployment, foreclosures). I grow tired of the constant whining about the rich - and how they are - across the board - responsible for everything. Maybe they'll all just leave, and then who can we blame?? Interesting comment also, on the competition of EU prisions. Someday, that will be here. All under Obama or whoever.

  • @swiftmachine1515 You didn't think; you regurgitated. If you looked at the data and thought for a minute then you'd have seen how silly it is for the average person to support supply-side economics.

  • Comment removed

  • @swiftmachine1515 Apparently economics is not your de forte.....

  • @swiftmachine1515 What is it like to be totally clueless? How can you function in society like that?

  • @swiftmachine1515

How does it feel to be a brainwashed sheep incapable of thinking for yourself?

  • @swiftmachine1515 Trickle Down should be renamed Shock Doctrine a form of electro shock therapy. The public is to be shocked into accepting less so the rich can have more. Since Reagan the middle class shrunk, poverty increased and the nations debt went out of control. This is the Shock. The Therapy is to bully the nation into Austerity Polices so the Rich can keep theirs and the rest can have less. WE are being told it's going to be painful, but not to the rich. Hence Shock Doctrine.

  • You get what you pay for, or what you vote for. If you voted republican, or are going to vote republican again you deserve a straight-jacket and all the financial pain you can stand.

  • Lol... Yes, boycott a corporation and kill a bunch of jobs... As if the guys at the top lose anything at all?

The thing about capitalism is that it doesn't matter what the morals of a person is... Only that he can produce what people want at a price they are willing to pay for it... But only as long as the government doesn't play favorites or limit competition...

If they want to waste a bunch of money on a candidate, let them... Just hold that candidate responsible for what they do...

  • @TheEllipsis731 Nope -buy the equivalent product from another American producer - The Koch brothers are out to kill the unions and lower wages.

  • @Ralphdraw3 Buy the highest quality product for the lowest price... From whoever produces it... And if they want to lower wages, let them... They will either lose their employees and hurt their business, or they will make goods more affordable and be able to hire more people (or reduce losses...)

It doesn't matter what someone is "out" to do, as long as they aren't given government favors or unfair competition... It's the government that needs a boycott...

  • @TheEllipsis731 It looks to me - that Koch Industries has a semi=monopoly. Their monopoly could have something to do with their large size etc.. They want to kill the unions and make even more profits. I will not be subsidizing the Koch brothers or their funding of rightwing think tanks and politicians.

  • @Ralphdraw3 There is nothing wrong with profits... And unions cause way more harm than good...

  • @TheEllipsis731 If the profits are not shared with the workers or the white collar employees, then it is unfair and unhealthy economically speaking. We then end up with a plutocracy - where most people are struggling to pay for essentials and a few fantastically wealthy people like the Koch bros control everything - the economy and the government.

  • @Ralphdraw3 While I don't have anything against anyone who makes tons of money, I agree with you that we are developing/have developed a plutocracy in America... My point is that the buck stops with the government... And it certainly isn't only the Republicans that are to blame... In fact, the best policy in the world for bringing big business down to size is free trade, which is violently opposed by both most of the left and the right...

  • @TheEllipsis731 I have a problem with making tons if - they inherit the business (and didn't really build it) as the Koch Brothers and they don't pay decent, living wages to their employees and they don't offer health coverage or retirement benefits. In the latter case, the government ends up doing the coverage.

  • @Ralphdraw3 lol, the unions hurt American business. They CAN be good, but they take away money from sectors that help produce products at lower prices. Although you CAN say that unions help keep capitalism "in line" (by implementing certain important rules and regulations, such as minimum wage, job safety, race relations, etc.), they are usually just as bad and just as greedy as the Koch Brothers, or any other top-dog capitalist, for that matter. Just gotta maintain your morality.

  • @swiftmachine1515 LOL = stupid, greedy, myopic Managers and CEO's can destroy companies and push the economy into recession, as what happened on Wall Street and the finance/banking sector.

  • @swiftmachine1515 You don't have to worry about unions - the private sector unions have been destroyed by globalization and out-sourcing. Thus the average wage and salary has been going down while the Wealthy "capitalists" are making a killing - becoming not millionaires but multi-BILLIONAIRES. While the vast majority of the world's people is quit poor.

  • video was interesting but the web chart is confusing!

  • @tlfettled there are three "hubs" in the web chart: Charles Koch, David Koch and Koch Industries.

  • excellent as always ralph.

  • Don't you love how "liberal" posts such and TYT have extremist right-wing ads next to the video? Nice try YouTube. Thanks for the info; I will boycott those clowns.

  • @tstruss912 You do realize that whoever pays for ad space gets it, right? YouTube is a business... Political vids get political ads from whoever pays for them...

You'll notice that videos that YouTube officially promotes are usually left-leaning...

  • @TheEllipsis731 "You'll notice that videos that YouTube officially promotes are usually left-leaning.." Leaning left? From what standpoint? The center now is roughly where Hitler so leaning left doesn't mean shit.

  • sickening

  • Don't use paper, it is cleaner to use soap and water!

    LOL

  • very nicely done.
