  • Looks interesting. Where are they available in Canada?

  • genus Kewrry good job

  • yoda, you can set the bobber down closer to the rod so the bait wont go all the way to the back of the mouth, think with your head retard

  • CHEATING!

  • I wonder if anyone up here in Maine has used them. A lot of days we have sub zero weather for our fishing. The holes freeze up fast and thats why most traps place the spool under water.

  • I hate when teh hook is way far down in the fishes mouth, and when I throw them back, fail 1/5

  • I can see the use for pike or something like that it's kind of like a tip up, but Panfish just seems really pointless and boring.

  • @Jonny0Colorado .....Yep, this set up would be better used as an alternative to a tip-up, for larger game fish....i.e. Walleyes , Pike, and Bass.

  • i love my automatic fisherman! iv caught pike, bluegill, perch, and even brown trout!

  • do the rods ever fade and lose there power

  • I have a 5 year old boy that doesn't like to sit very long so i just got mine two days ago after watch the video three days ago thank-you he now loves to ice fish he just walks over and brings them in thank-you again.

  • where can i get one of these

  • Can't believe there are no negative comments. I agree it would be good for northern fishing but pan fish? Come on. That just takes all the fun out of it.

  • Im from Seymour, Id like to demo these out for a weekend up in Shawano Lake and see if they will hook northern and large walleyes.

  • I assure you they will work better than any other tip up you can buy on the market. If you dont like it your probably doing something wrong. They work extremely well for Walleyes, pike, trout, perch, crappies and any other lake even Shawano. My # is in the book give me a call.

  • I launched a bluegill out of a hole with one of these, I love this product.

  • Great Product! hoping for one for christmas. I was also wondering, what rod/reel combo were you using when you caught your pike at the end?

  • We were using the 33medium heavy for the big pike and the 27 medium light for the small pike they are a lot of fun thanks Kerry

  • I want one or 10!

  • Looking at picking one of these up for pike and bass up on the Menominee River. The video mentions you're near Green Bay. What water are you actually fishing on?

  • I fish a lot of Winnebago the bay of green bay the canal of sturgeon bay rivers in Algoma and Kewaunee water in Michigan and central Wisconsin

  • Kerry, Seymour High Alum?

  • It looks like a slip bobber but you can place a liquid in the unit the liquid stops ice from forming on your line it works great. I used it on lake winnebago last season and never had to worry about my holes freezing until I had a fish it was very nice using with the automatic fisherman. I caught a lot of walleyes and perch.

  • I use a product called the ice stopper bobber it eliminates ice from forming on your line for up to 8 hrs in -50 degree weather.

  • im from WI i fish winnebago a lot. what i don't see is the insulation or whatever you use to keep your hole from freezing over. thats a must on a cold day

  • i hace something kind of like that but i dont know how to use because i got it in the middle of summer

  • You can use the Automatic fisherman on your boat also

  • yes we are

  • same here. Been fishing walleye in Vilas County ever??

  • were is that it sounds very formillier

  • It is in Northern Wisconsin.

  • are u from Wisconsin?

  • i need to get 1 of those

  • I'm curious as to what negative effect bending the trigger pin back and forth will have. Also, can this be used for reguler fishing, or is it specifically designed for ice fishing? Thanks!

  • The trigger pin has a life time waranty if you ever break it, I will send you a new one. The trigger pin can be bent 23 times as fast as possible and it then it will probably break. Under normal wear it will last a very long time because you will not bend it very much when using it. Yes it can be used during the summer on a boat or on a dock we are working on a bracket to mount it on a rod holder or on a boat rail. thanks Automatic Fisherman, LLC
