And what I meant to say was that this version is of inferior quality in comparison to the album version. And of course I am not talking about Joe Jackson being live which is great but the way Allison Cornell sung the song. Who'd have thought that a song about a transexual hooker could grab your emotions and leave you a gibbering wreck? Brilliant songwriting by JJ, brilliant performance by you. In fact the first time I ever heard this was at a JJ gig in Lyon, France. Night and Day 2 hadn't been released yet. It was the standout moment in an outstanding show. I agree that this is the best track on the album. saw alison on tour with joe in '95 and '01. both times in Birmingham in the UK. Both Joe and Alison (and all the musicians) were fantastic.
