Needless to say, it propelled me into studying the game and reading Chess books (the number in the thousands!). Fischer will never be forgotten. I have studied many players games in the last 40 years and one move in a Fischer game always comes to mind as inspirational motivation and that is Rf6 blockade move in a game I believe with Pal Benko. There are better games but this move just stands out since the rook can be captured a few ways and must be removed despite not threatening anything on its own. Anyway it is captured though still leads to the interference of blacks defense and subsequent mate.
