I have a dual-core E5400 2.7 GHz with a GTX 460 graphic card and i have between 14-25 FPS only...and with low-medium and some high settings....i can't run the game with all in very high settings....so, i think on your side you will barely run this game.

Hey you should switch to a Quadcore and Maybe an Ati Radeon HD graphics card. any of them would benefit you, and Gta Iv's hardware demanding so you should get a Quadcore for best gameplay, even if it's a cheap one, good luck!

You need atleast 1gb to run GTA4, you need atleast 2GB ram to run it with fraps, you need 3/4 GB Ram to run it with fraps and dual monitors and few more programs :D

@Victoriusdj 9500gt 1gb ddr3  is faster than hd5450, but try to check your power supply. I've test my hd5770 to a generic power supply and the game is lag in ultra low.

@myl6006 the performance of hd5670 is better than 9800gt, hd5670 has less power and heat. i suggest hd5670, if you have better processor you can run gta 4 in high settings in hd5670. . 9800gt supports only directx10. Or try to buy hd5770 or GTS450.

@myl6006 9800gt is a bit faster than 5670 , but the 5670 is wayy better cz it's a DX11 GPU and has less power and heat , but the 5670 is too slow to run latest games on DX11 !

Hm...why it lagging? I play gta 4 with same processor with med. settings in full hd. Check out my videos. Average fps is ~28. Videocard with 1 gb memory.
