This is how I came to this video: CBS Sunday Morning did a segment on the first Best Picture, "Wings," which starred Clara Bow. I Googled Bow and read her bio on Wikipedia, which mentions that a director had suggested his girlfriend for a role meant for Bow because of Bow's mental breakdowns. That girlfriend was Sylvia Sidney, so I Googled her, and I saw that she had been a real actress who had done a lot of stage work and kept working on film and TV through the 90's, incl this best supp. nomin.
