  • how do u make a hat cam? can I please ask you how to make one? thanks,,nice sunfish btw!!!!!!

  • @MegaRoadrunner1969 it's extremely simple..... find a bolt that is the same thread size as any digital camera that takes video, drill a hole in a hat, tighten it down with a nut and you're done...

  • what bait did you put on your hook

  • @allamericangooner nightcrawlers..

  • In my opinion, although normally very small, those sunfish are one of the prettiest fish on the planet.

  • @Winkiedoodles i agree, they are beautiful fish :) in washington they normally are pretty small. but i have caught lots of them about as big as my hand in the 8 inch + range :)

  • i realy like this vid

  • i onley can watch this every day

  • are that sunfish?

  • @l96a1pwnerguy yes, small pumpkinseed sunfish :)

  • @FishingThePNW thx and i love this vid

  • i suscribe!!!!!!!!!

  • i gonna subscribe you :) i like this fishing

  • what cam did you used?

  • @BornAlroundFisher it's just my normal digital camera that i mounted onto an old hat. it's a canon powershot sd1100 is

  • @FishingThePNW thanks

  • hey watched your video it was cool i have 1 question what kind of bait were you using let me know thanks

  • @I8D1 worms.....

  • Hahaha yup I love watching your videos and they help me alot

  • Haha your so awesome I subscribed

  • @thatsnazzyguy lol.. thanks :P

  • Haha your so awesome I subscribed

  • 1:35 tron fish haha

  • jwing :l dont consider this "snotty" but isn't using a bobber "nooby" ? :/ thats what everyone tells me

  • @KonLaoTaTae no using a bobber is not "nooby" whoever says that is just a jealous idiot that doesn't know how to fish. if it's noob, then tell me where there are world class professional fisherman that use "floats" for fishing.

  • @FishingThePNW Thank you ^-^ im using it next time i go fishing!

  • @KonLaoTaTae using a float is the best way to present a suspended bait at a consistent depth, which is why it is so prevalently used for panfish

  • where on lake washington was this? cuz dude i swear u live like near me, =]

  • @HATINTHEKAT this was at log boom park, google map it :)

  • very relaxing video...

  • @adamwest456 :)

  • do u take a small piece of night crawler and put it all on the hook?

  • @ipodfishingreview I take a piece that is big enough to cover the length of the hook and leave a little bit hanging off the end. if you leave too much hanging off they will steal your bait :P

  • @FishingThePNW i do the same thing

  • i do the same thing lol

  • nothing to big but on a pen rod its still fun

  • @pelletgun12 yeah they were all very small this day but fun indeed. check out the other panfish video i have, some good sized rock bass and big bluegills :)

  • @FishingThePNW sure man i will sub too!

  • @pelletgun12 thanks man! appreciate it!

  • true true

  • thx, i know exactly where marsh island or foster island is which people call it.. marsh island is very swampy and the trail is very wet. i will fishing for carp this summer during summer. thx man. love your videos. keep making more video using the pen rod extreme. i c your good at catching bass, blue gills and trout. i like to see you catch carp, or crappie now.. i could never figure out on how to catch them crappie

  • @ybm24 i've caught some crappie before, catching them isn't the hard part. the hard part is locating them! when they're spawning in late spring early summer it's not too hard to locate them but during the time that the move from deeper waters to shallow waters is when it's tough to find them. i've caught crappie at log boom and lake union and downsouth at ohop lake.

  • my bad. I mean carp lol. Been researching for a good spot carp fishing at lake washington. log boom park is the only i know so far..

  • @ybm24 i've heard of people catching them near marsh island which is by uw & the 520 bridge.

  • i want to see you catch carb

  • @ybm24 carb? you mean carp? i've really wanted to fish for carp but didn't really have the chance last year. hopefully i will get a chance to this year! it's been years since i last fished for them..

  • what size hook are you using

  • @smo2o size 8

  • what bait you use?

  • @HATTAXX nightcrawlers...

  • @FishingThePNW thanks

  • I figured i'd show some love for the video even though i had seen the other one.

Thumbs up for this one also.

  • @jurassicsushi haha thanks! :) i had to redit and upload again for better quality.. i did manage to mess up the order of one of the clips though.. my intro clip wasn't actually put first hahaha :P

  • what bait were you using???

  • @kirbylee96 nightcrawlers :)

  • Nice video and beautiful pumpkinseeds.

  • @YoungAngler11 yeah they're pretty fish :)

  • Nice, you should hit american lake sometime, fishing at bills boathouse is always good for big perch. Just fish in the shallows by the boats, that dock has very good size rock bass too.

  • @physchohead24 i heard you have to pay to fish bills boat house.. i've caught some good perch and rock bass at the public dock too.

  • @FishingThePNW Its a 4 dollar fee. He has cans of worms for three dollars. A row boat rental is 20 dollars for 6 hours, and a motor boat renal is 50 for six hours.

  • @physchohead24 oh i see, that's pretty cool. but i'll stick to public places and pay less for my worms :)

  • @FishingThePNW (i meant to say this a few days ago but i forgot) The boathouse at american lake might be a bit expensive, but i like to help out a small buisness, so thats where i always get my worms.

  • @physchohead24 yeah, it's always cool to support local small businesses, but i will never pay just to fish on a dock, maybe a boat launch fee if the fishing is worth it but not from a dock..

  • Yes, your hatcam is doing exactly what it was designed to do! Good job with alignment. I also see you've figured out the trick to catching those little guys is to use a real small bobber or cork, the smaller the better. Beautiful sunfish.

  • @Winkiedoodles thanks!! i'm gonna try to go back on a better day because i've caught pumpkinseeds and bluegills wayyy bigger at the same spot!!

  • nice fishing! you have you some really nice looking fish stateside! might have to come out there and show you how its done!! LOL

  • @kirisilvermane bring it on!!! :)
