  • Man in Space kit, the original did not come with the cardboard stuff!

  • Tom, I am pretty certain that what you interpret as a injection mold sink mark on the General Lee, is actually where the fuel cap goes on a 1969 Dodge Charger.

  • You do need to sand off that circle but remember the location as that's where the fuel cap goes.

  • @BlowDevilUp Unless there's an actual lid part that goes on that circle, it really should be scribed lines not raised lines, no?

  • @ModelManTom Since this kit is like 25+ years old, there was no such thing as recessed lines back then. Should be a Chrome Fuel cover on the chrome tree to go in that circle. Likely won't see it once it is installed.
