The Goodyear Blimp makes an appearance at 1:17. Outstanding footage. Agree that the music is creepy, but then again so are some of those big heads in the parade.

Amazing video and music combination. Somehow the music made the strange disembodied floating rubber heads even stranger, and the random shots of architecture and people extremely foreboding. I felt like I was in a David Lynch movie. Not inappropriate for the city. A once grand city laid to waste. But still beautiful. I think I'll watch your video again...

The population has declined because many educated bilingual folks left to find better jobs elsewhere.
The cotton weaving mills going to the southern states for cheap labor was also part of it all.
The hurricanes in the 50's flooding and destroying the waterfront industry where many were employed did not help.
It was NOT a democrat thing.
