They only played a handful of games, but according to my database Blackburne had a far superior win/loss record over Pillsbury (which actually surprised me a little, because Blackburne was a full on alcoholic by the time Pillsbury entered the Chess scene!). So yay for the Brits lol.
A balloon might have helped, but then again I doubt he would know how to work that thing.
