  • The recipe sounds really good. May I suggest something? I would heat the wok until it is smoking hot before adding the oil and then let it heat again until the oil smokes before adding the aromatics. Of course they need less time to cook, but the really intense heat gives a lot more flavor to the dish.

  • where could i get dark soy sauce? or could i substitute it with something?

  • @MrMusicman1022 Sorry I have taken so long to reply. I have been very busy at work.I get it at Asian markets. If you have a chinese market try there first.

  • almonds give a good bite and sweetness to this as well

  • No offense but if it is served with rice, it just looks alittle lacking in sauce. I am going to try it you way tho..Hmmm wonder what to add to make more sauce..Juicier..Maybe I am wrong..

  • @tigereyes8961 If you think it needs more sauce then you could do is double the sauce.

  • @tigereyes8961 I like to add some stock water to get more juice without getting too bitter a sauce touch

  • Should've used cashew nuts instead of peanuts, that's how we Chinese do it :)

  • @DarkPro Cashew nuts would be good.
