We've made it a high-speed, high-scoring game. It's not the "beautiful game," but it's supposed to be entirely different. It requires more futsal-style skills, quicker decisions, different types of restart plays. You have to enjoy it for what it is, not what you think it's supposed to be.
wow, what happened to wave attendace...i saw them in the late '90s, when it wasn't uncommon for them to draw 15-17,000...but now it looks like 3-4,000...that sucks! back to where they started in the '80s...
The crowd on Saturday was 4,510, solid but not spectacular. A lot of things have changed since the late 90s, but the Wave and MISL both are making strides. With 13 games on TV this year, we're much farther ahead than in the mid-80s.
i dont reall like soccer to much but ive been to one of these games nd their really fun

From what I know, it's a combination of a lot of things...most obviously hockey and soccer.
