It's quite sunny there, and, with the hole in the ozone layer allowing more ultraviolet radiation through the atmosphere, it's particularly important for penguin viewers to remember their sunscreen.
This is great! Love the attention to detail - every direction being described as north, sun during "tonight" as it would be there throughout the summer, lack of snow at the pole (it's one of the driest places on earth), and even the "?" on the clock face - where all the timezones converge, what is the right time? :) Made me smile, well done.
Well done: you've listed almost everything I could think of to get in there.
There were also a couple of items of Antarctic slang ('weather guesser', and the wonderful 'Banana Belt') that I found at coolantarctica /Community/antarctic_slang.htm
Very cute. I enjoyed that too and thought it was very clever how you correctly caught many anomalies of Antarctica as EuroAlien pointed out....two years ago.
Very clever work! If only the local weather was that entertaining with insulting your intelligence (The weather readers here can be so annoyingly cute!).
lol weird... but good

In the day forecast, north is referred to three times, of course. But I'm already saying what some others have said.

That is pretty funny. Meanwhile, moving from the north to the other side of the continent, the north....

What software did you use?
NocturnalWarrior2245 4 years ago
Blender: for creating and animating 3D models
Audacity: sound recording, processing
OpenOffice: scriptwriting and lipsync spreadsheet
VirtualDub: video conversions
Lagarith: lossless codec
Paint Shop Pro 7: weather symbols, captions, credits, other background elements
Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6: editing, bluescreen
Quicktime Pro 7: for upload to YouTube (I find QT looks better with blocks of solid colour than Xvid)
My brain: occasional source of ideas and patience

Loved it. Bluescreen does wonders.
