Michael thought a normal reverse no-look layup was too easy so he slapped his wrist just because he is MJ. Uncanny. This man is truly the GOAT if he won 3 championships w/ Bill Cartwright as a Center.
The Basketball Hall of Fame should build a separate wing for Michael "Air" Jordan and make sure that just like Mike's game, it sits on a mountain above and beyond everything else. Shoot, just watching these awesome vids after so many years to remind myself of exactly how virtually omnipotent he was night in and night out still amazes me. Michael Jordan... Where IMPOSSIBLE happens...Nightly
THESE ARE THE KIND OF GAMES THAT TICKS ME OFF ABOUT MICHAEL JORDAN. LET ME EXPLAIN MYSELF... PEOPLE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT KOBE BEING A BETTER SCORER THAN JORDAN..THAT STUFF IS FLATOUT STUPID. JORDAN HAD SO MANY GAMES WHERE HE COULD HAVE GONE OFF FOR 50, 60 AND MORE, BUT THE BULLS WERE SO GOOD THAT THEY WOULD DOMINATE TEAMS AND BE UP BY 20 OR MORE IN THE 4TH QUATER. JORDAN SAT DOWN WITH A LOT OF TIME REMAINING IN THE GAME WITH 47 POINTS. HE WOULD HAVE EASILY SCORED ABOUT 60 IF HE WANTED TO.
blue edwards was a way better defender than tod day,but blue is best when being hit on the fast break. blue played sf as he was not a good ball handler but blue should have been marking jordan in this game.
Look at MJ dunk at 7:00 ... The dunk is simple... but please telm then did he jump... what quick jump,... He was so much atkletical than today NBA stars.
the move at 1:35 might be jordan's most beautiful version of the up and under move. There was another one he did in '87 where he switched hands that was also amazing (against the hawks i think) but this one is simply incredible. a step up from Dr. J's famous version of it against the Lakers.
the best damn player of all time no one can touch him not event lebron and 4 sure not kobe mj is the king of the game magic and larry are the godfather
@nbadesirer32 Not one past or present is better than MJ but Kobe is a helluva lot closer than that joke, Lebrick. Give me Kobe in his prime any day of the week over Lebrick. Kobe is far and away a better BASKETBALL player than Lebrick. Being an athlete and being a basketball player are not the same thing (see Larry Bird for clarification).
@chitownref i highly agree with you kobe is a monster tho we are witnessing another legend in the game and I still think Kobe is underrated at times with the people who know basketball ...however jordan is the greatest of all time he is unbelievable
Look at how simple everything is for him. He makes it look so easy. Easily the most effortless scorer in history imo -- he just had all the moves, fakes, and counters. He didn't even break a sweat here and finished with 47/7/5/5 steals on 60% shooting. Thanks for the video.
we all kno micahel jordan is the greatest of all time. i think derrick rose will be the next big thing for chicago but not as big as Michael Jordan. but up there
It's a shame what happened to Ron Huery..so much talent, but yet, his decision making skills were horrible & thus, continuously led him back to the SAME predicaments that led to his demise..
Earlier this year, he got sentenced to jail for a # of years over domestic abuse & drugs. He beat up some chic he was seeing & the police were called out & he was arrested on that, then got busted a few days later with intent to distribute cocaine in his hometown of memphis..
He SERIOUSLY seemed like he was born with a lack of "ANY" judgement at all..
Jordan is way better than that arrogant Kobe and Magic Johnson combine.

MJ's 1st quarter in this game is better and more exciting than 99% everyone else's entire season.

Thanks for the upload! The way MJ can hold the ball in the air with one hand is unhuman. It's like he is toying with the defenders.
BTW I remember Lee Mayberry had a huge dunk that season on one of the NBA Action Top 10 plays of the week. Anyone have that episode?
RR0849 3 years ago
Another game he could of gone for 50, but didn't feel he needed to. That's one of the things that made him great, he didn't force things.

Lee Mayberry was on that Bucks team as well. As Razorbacks, they were the Tag Team known as "MayDay"
They were reppin' for the Razorback Nation (Arkansas) during that time in their careers..
