@anubreedofangel They were from some movie called "Ninja"... which, IMO, was just o-KAY. It's a bit of a "Ninja Assassin" rip-off but it's a decent action flick

Did they edit footage from scenes of Chris O'Donnell as Robin to make him look like Nightwing? Or did he really do a fan trailer? My mom actually knows him, she went to college with his sister and her best friend and roommate went out with him.
Nightwing has one of the best stories in all of the DC universe. Rising from Robin, the Boy Wonder, and becoming something even greater than a sidekick: Batman's heir. Throw in some drama with his mentor, love issues with Oracle, and you have one hell of a story. The only problem is that Hollywood would need to build up everything for the Nightwing mythos.
@shibien13 That IS the essential problem. He's got such a rich backstory that it's hard to just jump into it. I mean you CAN but the average non-comic book reading joe-shmoe who hollywood unfortunately caters to would be a bit confused and probably spend the majority of the movie asking "but where's Batman?" or "Isn't he supposed to be called Robin?" Also, not everyone understands the complex relationship that Dick and Bruce have with each other so explaining how it falls apart is even harder.

However I have done a lot of research into the Batman universe, and the Nightwing story itself makes me want to check out more comics. Whose 2 say DC wont do the same and 1 day make a Nightwing film
