I thought the slashers were whelping the tallman. Why are the zombies and the ball attacking the slashers

The Slashers are dominated by Pinhead and fight against the Tallman, zombies, dwarfs and spheres. In CROSSOVER 2, Leatherface and Michael Myers are dominated by the Tallman but Reggie and Pinhead capture with the box all the Slashers to make his own army.
