Personally I like the fact that they randomised the bonus stars, So you wouldnt know youve won the game until the end, And you wouldnt be as dependent on the bonus stars so It made me personally more focused on the actual board

Mario Party 7 and 8 replicated so many mini-games from the old, and made them easier. Placing the honey puddles takes away from the illusion that people have to guess on where the honey drops will fall. Coney Island had it right.
