How racist and disrespectful!! If your crazy and have no sense of this reality then yes you will be crazy and seeing illusions. I've been using peyote since I was 16 when my aunt passed away. It helped me understand what life is about and comforted me especially when I was mourning. I do have a full-time job and a college degree and in no way has peyote effected my life. It helped me say prayers and stay grounded with reality. These white people are dumb as Fuck!!

Peyote is a sacred plant. Native Americans have used it for thousands of years. When Spanish jesuits came over in the 1500's, they seen the consumption of peyote (and incidentally many other sacred plants - mushrooms, ayahuasca, etc.) as satanic rituals. Once Spanish (and Catholic) power grew in the Americas, consumption of plants in order to attain religious experiences was outlawed. Many Natives were brutally murdered and enslaved for practicing these ancient beliefs.
