Ls and now in 2010 at my worst I hit 480mgish a day I was fucked I thought I'd die if I stopped. All the way into 2012 I've been taking suboxone and it sucks lemme just let everyone know something don't start if I could have one thing out of life it'd be that I spared one person from this hell 2006-2011 wasted from 14-20 I missed out please don't make the mistake I did please
A quick story to anyone who hasn't heard this before. I started in 2005 just taking 15mg here a 20 there after a while I started getting a bit sick I'd never been addicted or even thought it could happen to me so anyway in 06 it really picked up got up to 80mg I never thought I'd make it this far now full on withdrawa
This vid is a buncha BULLSHIT. The main "point" (or lack there of) is deviated from, trying to relate pills (which HELP a lot of people in chronic pain) to your political views, never once talking to or cite examples of the vast amount of people who are able to lead normal lives BECAUSE of opiate pain killers. It's @*%s like you who make it hard for people with real pain to get their pills and not be looked at like a drug seeking dysfunctional human being. This is an awful school project, "bro"
@j0n3zin there are natural pain Killers, cannibus is a natural pain killer. If cannibus was Legalized 80% of the pharmaceutical industry would crumble. Weed has 2 things in it: tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabonoids. We have cannabonoid receptors in our brain, it is healthy to use weed as a pain killer. Watch the whole movie, instead of cutting out a the political stuff and you'd actually Learn something
@MrOrange121 wtf dumbass, do you even know what cannabis is? It's no less than the most effective medicine with over a thousand uses and it has no negative side effects.
i been doing oxy (mostly 30s and 15s) since late 2009/early 2010... obviously in the beginning i didnt know about withdrawals so after doing them a few weeks straight and stopping i experienced that living hell of withdrawing... but i figured out how my body works and what my limits are and i been doing it for over 2 years... some people lose control (like everybody from my hometown) and start stealing to support a habit... some people like myself can keep it recreational
@jerseyemt my fucking god! thats terrible research! It only takes two minutes to even check that. Codeines exceptionally mild.. Morphines TEN times the potency of Codeine..and even then codeine is a pro drug that metabolizes into morphine by a CY enzyme in the liver and not everyone can convert codeine into morphine..Terrible research there..
@jerseyemt I do plan on making a 'new and improved version of this film' .. just cause of that one mistake doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talkin about
OxyContin and drug like it (opioids) gave me my life back. After a nasty car wreck that caused spinal cord damage, I was in constant, severe pain, and unable to work. A multi-faceted pain management plan which included OxyContin, physical therapy, and other treatments, brought my pain level down to a manageable level. I still have pain everyday but I am able to work a full-time job.
Without OxyContin, I would be unable to work and would be a drain on society. With OxyContin I can live normally.
@FrankieGotz Like I already said, opioids are only 1 part of my overall pain management. I was prescribed Marinol in the past which was effective but caused significant side effects. Perhaps actual cannabis would work better, but until it is 100% safe and legal to obtain it I won't know.
Besides, natural or not, you are still recommending that I simply replace 1 drug for another. Also, most opioids including oxycodone are merely (very) slightly modified versions of naturally-occurring opiates.
@SteveTrinity2 This is true. Methadone is a very long-acting drug by default. Unlike most opioids, which last only 4-6 hours and require special controlled-release formulations (like OxyContin) to be effective for 12-24 hours, methadone by itself lasts 24 hours.
Withdrawal from methadone is longer (45-60+ days), but not as severe. Withdrawal from oxycodone, morphine, and most other opioids is short (7-10 days) but much more intense.
I believe there exists or was somthing natural that existed-a plant or somthing derived from a plant that could cure and can cure every type of ailment and disease on Earth. It is only because of GREED that no natural cures are healing anyone in hospitals. We have SICKCARE Industry not Healthcare,SICK PEOPLE GENERATE MONEY and thats all that matters to shareholders of pharmacutical companies.
thank you guys so much for doing it feel like this. in my hometown of new port richey florida I had to friends that died from an overdose of oxy cotton, my hometown with so bad me and 2 of my friends moved for the sole purpose of getting away from all the drugs. your movie is spot on and going to post it in as many places I can! thank you again and keep up the good work!
@fcdog555 you obviously have poor attention span. Oxycontin is not derived from anything, the primary ingredient is called oxycodone. This is how the chain goes: Opium -> The Baine -> Oxycodone. So yes you are correct, it is ultimately extracted from opium. But without 'The Baine' being discovered and extracted first oxycodone wouldn't existed... Fuckin asshole
@ontariobuds where you on drugs watching this? I was using that as analogy to point out how 'stupid' it is to use methadone to help addicts quit opoids.
analogy - A comparison between two things, typically on the basis of their structure and for the purpose of explanation or clarification.
@FrankieGotz I don't think it is stupid at all to use methadone to help quit opiates.it isn't good to take for an extended period of time but it works great to help with the initial process of quitting. alleviating withdrawal symptoms is a huge part in getting a start at quitting. those withdrawals is usually what keeps people from getting clean.Methadone as you know if highly addicting so it can be trouble, suboxone is different, it's easier to get off of, I would say it is better all around.
@ontariobuds I agree with what you said. But watch my film from 1 hour and 3 sec. There are better ways to kick addiction. Yes I agree (even in the film) if u listen closely to my words I say "Methadone does help opoid addics when they hit rock bottom, but it's just another drug masking the symptons. Trading one addiction for another."
Watch the Ibogaine part, it'll blow your mind ( 1 hour and 3 sec )
let me get this straight. I'm not supposed to trust the government but I am supposed to trust the film maker? Why? Because you are against the "new world order"? As far as I know this whole movie is horse shit. It is just opinions, 'they drug us to dumb us down'. what about people who don't use prescriptions?
I'm just saying it is weird to say don't trust them but trust what I say. That is the exact same thing the government says, now you say it. cheers
@FrankieGotz hey man, I'm sorry if I seemed rude. But I still stick by what I said, I just wanted to make sure you know I'm not being angry about it. What would you like me to research?

It's been proven time and time again that Methadone is harder to quit than heroin. The only difference is that it's prescribed by a doctor, so the system can make the money instead of the black market.
Methadone has no dangers??? My god, I know you must have good intentions, but that is one of the most untrue statements ever uttered. It is extremely lethal and unequivocally one of the most addictive compounds in existence. Not an option for anyone sincere about help or change. Is an option for getting the best high from an opiate- leagally and manageably.
I’ve seen this drug destroy many lives and families. kids in my high school started abusing O.C., from there they all moved on to heroin. Its almost like a virus, how it has spread through this area. Now we have people in there early 20s over dosing, friends stealing from each other, stealing from there families, all for a pointless high. Stay away from this drug, keep your friends and family away from this drug, its an infection.
There are no dangers associated with methadone use however there is a reason why methadone is called a bar-less prisson or liquid handcuffs. Methadone is deffinetetly not the best option for opium addiction, its way more addictive than heroin with a half life of 48 hr plus. Even if you taper gradually over many years and you hit zero mg you will still be in withdrawal. Ibogaine takes away opiate withdrawals within 30-45min. Hands down its the best tool for the most painless detox!!
@masterhermesbathory I agree with you..... Methadone withdrawal is the worst. I just wanted to kill myself during withdrawal. I've been clean for 4 months now, and I feel amazing. It does feel like you're a prosoner in your own body while on methadone.
