How does the neck compare?

I read on Fenders website the neck is a little less wide and thinner than the usual strat.

Always wanted a thin (Ibanez type) neck on a strat, only reason I haven't bought one yet.

No. Its a little less wide and a bit thinner than the previous Jeff Beck, that was a baseball neck ! This neck is like a modern C shape with some body. Very confortable, but nothing like a Ibanez. The reason I like this guitar is because of this, its wider and fatter than a regular strat. If you want a thinner neck, you can order a Suhr Classic S with a Even C extra slim neck ! That's the thinner a real good strat can get !
