  • how did you link it to a VGA Monitor? or have you got your Pc out there too lol

  • Wankers! At least wait a week or too to see if anyone local has lost an expensive plane before breaking it up. Wankers! Good fpv system tho....

  • good fpv setup! oh, return the plane to the ppl who lost it.

  • im sooo jaelous....

  • Great job! I say it's yours! I wanna go fly FPV around all the major flying fields in my area now!

  • What camera did you use?

  • wow such a stage

  • What camera did you have onboard?

  • Wow, great clip...

  • Cool vid of a bunch of r/c pirates,,,oh is that not what you were tring to show,,,,Dugh!

  • About a month ago I accidentally left a parkzone corsair at the parking lot I like to fly in, I had it underneath the back of my car to avoid it being stepped on. I received a phone call from my wife with a minor emergency and left for home in a hurry. it was about 5 minutes before I relied my stupid mistake, the plane was gone though

I had no info or phone number anywhere on it so I can blame no one but myself.

Fly without your info on the airframe at your own risk....

  • Is your easystar without aileron modification? Or with?

  • I do believe you tried to find the owner but the facts remain the same; you guys had that plane chopped and divvied up right there in the field BEFORE any attempts to contact the owner were made. Your video backs up my assertion.

  • mmmmm 1:18 what?????

  • Rather than "gathering the parts back up", you yahoo's should ought to either re-assemble his plane or buy him a new one. You can sell off your $1200 fpv system, that ought to cover it.

  • @straightshiz we didnt find the guy, thanks. We looked for contact info, and nothing. We did donate a lot of it to a local kids club for building R/C planes. All the servos turned out to be bad anyway. Thanks.

  • @RedDevilSquadron You guys probably shouldn't have recorded the diving up part. That's all. Really otherwise it is the owners responsibility to put contact information on the plane. If you contacted the club then that's doing more than you have to do. These things happen. We should all be using loc8tors if we value our flying property.

  • @straightshiz I agree. lol um yeah they gave away RC airplane parts to um ya know, that kids club that builds umm RC airplanes. lol what bull shiet. If it is AMA they would get booted, running across the feild, diving on people on the feild, a plane at an ama feild without the first rule (I.D.) oh and a downed plane in perfect condition, but the donating is the best part, yeah right. How long do ya think it took these butt pirates to plan this. This crap is why I left the AMA, shady ass people.

  • How are you powering the monitor. I see you have it plugged in, but into what? Local field power? Great vid btw. =-)

  • I agree nice video however, yall dont look old enoph to appreciate money yet, mabey you should try a bit harder to find the owner before you deconstruct his airframe. I know how it goes, but holy cow the FPV plane isnt on the ground yet and you all are divying up the stuff. good luck and cool FPV

  • @jairoblaster we didnt find the guy, thanks. We looked for contact info, and nothing. We did donate a lot of it to a local kids club for building R/C planes. All the servos turned out to be bad anyway. Thanks.

  • bigger plane+ weapon = lots-o-fun

  • Excellent! Great job guys. I have a EZ Star here with FPV in it,almost ready to go, but I iave a few questions if you won't mind answering please.

I have a portable flat screen tv like yours, and I saw the 12v battery powering it, but are you using a voltage inverter in series?

The image quality on the screen looked very good too, may I ask what camera you used too?

Are you powering your camera from,I presume, a 3S lipo?, is it around 2200mah,and is it installed in the nose, or further back? Thx!

  • Haha, great! Must be a good feeling to actually find something valuable with the help of a FPV plane. I hope you found the owner and returned it, though.

  • how much power does the motor need to have?. I've modified my EZ star with aleirons and a brushless motor and It just won't lift up!

I've put my motor in a balance and it has 90g power (flowing against the balance)

Then I tried to put another fan and it got 120g power.

How much does it need to be strong enought to lift mine up?

    PLS ANSWERRRRR :D

  • gosh that's cool... i just wish i knew what they were saying... i don't speak douche bag... but the fpv is awesome

  • i like your setup

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh goooood i gizzed

  • very nice video.

  • Wow, your camera and display are an excellent match! What camera are you using? Does your monitor distort your image to fit it to the widescreen format?

I am assembling a Ritewing Zephyr for FPV and I have a pair of Trimersion goggles ready to mod but when I inevitably break it I might go this route. Great video!

  • Great video, great flying- I've always wanted to try this FPV. Looks like you guys are pegging the fun meter to MAX. COOL! How did you set up your FPV and how do you power the monitor at the RC field? Generator, or do you have power at the field? Again, great job on video. Thanks for stimulating the economy. ;-)

  • lol sure. :) and we have a 12V car battery for power on the ground.

  • HEY!! That s my plane!!!

    Jokes guys!

Well done, great flight and plane. i cant beleive somone didnt go looking for the extra 90 plane, if that was me i wouldnt have gone back home with out it. (frustrated noob, id say left it)

  • How much did the FPV system cost you guys?

  • about $1200

  • @RedDevilSquadron hey does that include the screen?

  • @siresoul2

Not really that much if you can get parts new. I got the higher end parts, but with the plane, radio, everything needed, screen, etc, it is around that much. I imagine someone could put together a system similar for somewhere over half as much.

  • I am the one flying, please don't mind my crazy screaming, I was very excited to do this after 3 years of wanting, lol.

  • Fantastic flight guys but on the other hand you know how exspencive all this rc stuff is and in my opinion you should do one off two things .If you are going to post a video like this on youtube then take it to you club chief exec and dont steel the parts man. Or dont post on youtube and have it for yourselves and live with the thought that it might be some poor kids hard earned pocket money which has been saved up for years to buy that plane and now hes sat at home crying his eyes out . Lols.

  • Please know that I am not one to go stealing anything. Although we never did find contact info in the plane, that we did in fact search for because AMA requires info in the plane. I actually did go asking someone who is in a higher position in the club to get some information and I have found who owned the plane. I am returning the engine this weekend, but he does not want the electronics. I was ready to gather the parts back up from in between us to return them. Thank you.

  • Thanks scott, I was going to post this, but I was gone all day.

  • @liamandchad we didnt find the guy, thanks. We looked for contact info, and nothing. We did donate a lot of it to a local kids club for building R/C planes. All the servos turned out to be bad anyway. Thanks.

  • Awesome find guys! these two videos convinced me to get an FPV plane lol

  • Sweet Guys! Very Kool! 5*

  • Sweet, is your fpv system 900mhz or 2.4ghz? Also how many mW is it?

    Thanks

    5*

  • I am using 900MHz at 500mw with a custom tuned TX antenna with an 8dbi patch on the ground station.

  • nice setup guys i wonder if it just failed in flight n the guy who lost it just walked away from it or dident relise it was gone.
