americans dont understand that trader joe's is actual just the average, normal grocery store you have in germany... its a german company, from the Aldi brothers
@JessOnTheRun Not really. It may be German held now, but that's not how it started. I'm from the town where the original, and still standing/operating, Trader Joe's is. Look it up on wikipedia.
Whenever I happen to shop at a TJ's (while visiting relatives), I use a credit card. Why? Well, it gives them access to my home ZIP code (Capital Region, NY!). That I have done this repeatedly (in Amherst, North NJ, Long Island, etc), I hope, indicates that I would use a TJ's were it located here.
