I mean, you go through laughing with your friends and meeting a whole buncha disney characters like pooh bear and even halloween town which is thought of as scary things, only to find yourself at a huge confusing castle looming over you as you fight heartless that are bigger and more powerfull then any others you've faced. and on the castle is the symbol of all that is dark and evil, glaring at you the whole time.

Best song in the entire game in my opinion (also my favourite world). The Kingdom Hearts II arrangement sounds even better, but I still like the parts better that were already in the first game. The new happy parts sort of spoil the old dark ones, so that's sort of a double edged sword. This would sound so epic with a real orchestra. There's no such version is there?

Why is everybody complaining about H.B being "Hell in a Cell"?This World was truly and surprisingly simple.I mean Monstro and Atlantis those worlds were tough,complicated and burns countless hours.That Wooden Sword never made this world any harder than someone who isn't prepared, and know the enemies attack patteren,and have Beast to all of the dirty work.Plus,we have the Toy sword for a limited time anyways.Riku was a pushover,,like all Squaressoft(Enix) Rival Bosses.

The only problem I have with this game is the unskipable scenes and the fact that every time Riku/Ansem kicked your ass it took about five minutes until you could fight him again,

that, and the fact he was fucking nails, (not to mention fucking Malificent!) meant I often gave up replays at this part of the game!

I will always associate this tune with failure.

@guntotingtomcat OMFG I KNOW. I got raped by Ansem/Riku so many times and I'd sit through scene thinking "fuck I'm going to have to sit through this again..." knowing that Riku/Ansem was going to kick my ass.

Hollow Bastion also always scared me to play through it, there were a lot of twists and turns with some tough Heartless. Not to mention when you have to rely on Beast to kill everything... and he somehow misses targets right in front of him... Good times.

Oh man, I loved Hollow Bastion! I seem to be the only one but it was just the music, and then when you get to the room where you fight Riku it looks so cool, plus the library was one of favourite bits of the game. This song really gets stuck in your head as well. I also loved training in Hollow Bastion - no, I'm not crazy it's just that after just a bit of training there, and with ars arcanum you are strong enough can ravage absolutely everything.
