Nice vid. American Beauty and Written on the Wind are two of my very favorites. NOBODY uses color and symbolism like Sirk. He was so brilliant, and so far ahead of his time. I'm only sorry the vid didn't encompass *more* films, like Parenthood, Ordinary People, The Graduate, Far From Heaven, etc.
thanks everyone! I agree that more movies could have been incorporated, but I did want to keep it short.
I'm especially happy to hear that instructors like these videos. I hope that these vids might be helpful as supplements to teaching...
