The military consumes too much capital from the private sector.
Countries that don't have militaries like Germany don't have an outsourcing and deficit problems.

I'd prefer to move away from so many large corporations myself which is a hard thing to do. It's really a race to the bottom. You can't tell me that what you've seen recently with the bailout that these CEO's don't care about anyone but themselves or maybe the bottom line to their stock holders.

Hitler and the nazi party were not socialists. Nazi germany was a market driven economy. In fact, if you knew anything about history, you'd know that the only reason that they called themselves the national socialist party was that in order to get any support from the people in germany in those days, you had to have the word socialist in the title. actually nazism was an extreme right wing movement, and one of their main aims was to destroy socialism.

Capitalism does not work unless it benefits all its people, not the few. Look at any Labor Report and it clearly shows the top 1% increases in wealth while the avg. workers wages have stagnated. The oil that keeps the capitalist machine running is greed, not morality. We as Americans are getting a taste of that odor, Iraq for oil, profit over care, subprime loans, etc. Socialism will not make profit over any of these problems, it solves them. France's healthcare the best and for 1/2 the cost.
