No I don't think Qat is why Yemen is very poor, Yemen produces 200,000 Barrels/year While Saudi produces 10,000,0000 Barrels/year, Ya3ni Saudi is 50 times richer than Yemen, Yemen will have to have a population of 500,000 to enjoy the same living standards of Saudis

By nature Yemenis are genetically non-productive meaning if there is no Qat, they will move to other nations & create problems in other parts of the world (similar to the spread of Jews & Islam)
