Can someone help me?

I just got these and i don't want the soles to crack, so i keep my 3's in a thin plastic bag (The bags you put fruit in at the grocery store). I also put two small silica packs inside the box. Is this method good for keeping my kicks from cracking?

@xMikeyMike24 I could be wrong, but I think the silica packs would take the moisture out of the leather, and cause the leather to crack.
