  • sounds terrible

  • u can talk sht about budget version all the time but with Paiste u never get it wrong! pst 5 is unbelievably amazing line with very good sound. i used pst5 on record and even sound engineer was amazing how good hat and ride sound on the record! which cymbal brand could have very good sound for the same line/price? :)

  • The thin pst sounds better

  • great cymbal, gonna get it this week. could of let it ring out though for more sound demonstration :S

  • what do u suggest for hardcore: Paiste pst5 medium/thin/or rock crash

  • @daj19972 Thin

  • @129jasaxos go paiste

  • fuckin retard let it ring out, i waited the whole video to see if you would but you kept riding it, its a crash we wanna hear its sustain, good cymbal though

  • It would be a nice idea if you hit the cymbal right..

Anyways, it's a nice cymbal if you are into rock metal music and you are on a budget, but if you are more into latin , jazz funk etc avoid it.. It's way too loud. I got mine and sold it in the first 24 hours.

  • Holy balls!, does anyone on YouTube know how to hit a crash cymbal?!?! You take the bow of your stick and smash the edge of the cymbal. And then maybe one or two hits on the bell.

  • that sounds like a trash can lid

  • Zildjian: Awesome Hi-Hats and Splashes

Sabian: Awesome Hi-Hats, Rides and Splashes

Paiste: Awesome Chinas, Rides, Crashes and Splashes ;)

  • paiste: Amazing everything!

try out the paiste 2002 series i promise you will not want to play another cymbal again. there just so tasty.

  • yeah men, but there is a difference in price.. Maybe Orasilth isn't good enough to have some 2002 i don't, but this are cymbals for begginers

  • Lawl check my other vids dude ;-)

I replaced the PST5s two years ago !

Now, i own Signature, RUDE.. cymbals.

  • Paiste: Great high hats and rides

    Sabian: Nice crashes and rides

    Istanbul: Awesome splashes

    Wuhan: Only great Chinas

  • Paiste: Great Hi-Hats

    Sabian: Awesome Crashes

    Istanbul: Amazing Rides

    Wuhan: Only the Best Chinas

  • Is this, or Medium is better for black/death metal?!

  • I allso have this Cymbal. Its cool!

  • im a begginer kinda. my friends who have been drumming for a while have told me im exelent for a begginer. so anyways i need new cymbals cuz the ones i got from my cusion suck. im thinking about getting Paiste STP 5 s what do u think?

  • Sry i ment pst not stp

  • invest in one, now

  • Paiste: Awesome Hats and Rides

    Zildjian: Awesome crashes

    Sabian: Hell ya'!

  • Paiste: Awesome Splashes

    Zildjian: Awesome Crashes

    Sabian: Nice Rides

    Meinl: Awesome HiHats

    Stagg: Nice Chinas

  • hmmm ive nevr seen someone play stagg. I like sabians crashes especially their vaults and apx's

  • thanks!

  • stagg, wtf?

Meinl made awesome rides and splashes..

  • have you ever tried stagg dh chinas?

  • Im really surprised with Stagg. They are a company known for cheap quality but their newest lines of cymbals are freakin awesome. They sound just as good as quality Zildjians or Sabians and are a fraction of the price. Still prefer sabian though ;)

  • Dont buy any pst 5s they may sound good for the money but they crack easy i cracked my 19" PST Rock Crash in 3 in a half months!

  • iv almost had my 16" crash a year and its not got so much as a dent or scratch, just have your cymbals loose as fuck and they will survive for years

that being said i have my china really tight and thats in near perfect condition too, just stick marks really

  • plato delicioso, tenia que ser paiste...

  • uh ok...........

  • sounds terrible xD

  • para viejo.. dale un respiro al plato la gracia es ver como explota y como mantiene su resonacia.. LA PUTA QUE TE PARIO! jejeje

  • u argentinian

  • i got this crash. the sound is really low but it's okay.

  • which ones should i go for thin crashes, medium crashes or rock crashes? and what are the differences between them?

  • It depends of the music that you want to play. Just be logical.

  • thins have a deeper sound than medium and rock crashes are meant to be hit hard and they are heavy

  • but the thin ones flex more so will last you longer

  • Too Ringy

  • sounds too china'y..

  • ???????

  • Hey, I have a kit at home and i've cracked all my cymbals after like 3 years lol. I dont play that much drums anymore but I still just wana muck around. I play metal and i want like the lower end cymbals but not beginner. eg. ZBT's, Xs20's. But as I would like them to favor metal. Thanks in advance

  • your hitting the cymbals from the wrong anlge. sit down and hit it like u were playing it regularly. and lossen them. bc i got the pst 5 universal and then the 16" rock crash and the rock crash doesnt sound th same, u have t hit it right

  • i got mine.... 121 bucks

  • i got mine... free along with the rock 14"high hats and rock 20"ride

    ;)

  • in england i can get this for 71 pounds delivered =D and im gona get it soon

  • i payed 91 euros thjis morning

  • yah def to tight bro....you dont even want to tighten down the wingnuts(or w/e) at all really just let the cymbal sit there so you can get a full sound out of it

  • Agreed. Only tight it so the crash won't fly off, unless you're rich enough to buy new crashes. Tightening them can make 'em sound incredibly good, but it'll break 'em for sure.

  • Dude loosen your cymbal ffs, you're gonna break it if yo ukeep it that tight! Oh, and don't wash it with cymbal cleaners, use water & soup. Great crash anyways! I'm buying more PST 5 crashes instead of going for A-Customs :)

  • Mmmmm soup.

  • lmao!

  • Hah alol whoops! soap :D

  • how much is a paiste pst5 cymbal pack? (14,16,20)

  • i don't know, in France, it costs 285-325 euros

  • $285.75 american

  • Great cymbal! Thanks for sharing it with us!
