I hope you don't drum with that set-up anymore I can tell by your body mechanics that's it's a awful set up. Tips raise that snare drum. Lose a rack tom move that ride over opposite your hi hats and tighten up you kit cymbals don't need to be that high set up your kit right or your gonna hurt your self.
im getting a new resonant head for my snare and i have a remo coated ambassador on the top side but i dont now which bottom head i should get for my snare. Should i get the remo ambassador snare side head?
If its your first then go with tama rockstar 5 peice kit. Intermidiate then tama superstar or mapex merridian birch. If you have any more questions then just send me a message.
For a beginner set, I would go with the sabian B8s. They're very sturdy, I'm still using B8 hats and a crash ride thats been through five years of abuse. Plus just about everything Sabian makes sounds excellent.
dont go for B8s, spend the money and take a step up, go with zildjian ZBTs before sabian B8s its same price but better quality with zildjians, i like sabian's chinas but otherwise go for sum zildjian A or A customs, if you can spare the money, otherwise at least step up to a XS20 or at least a b8 pro if ur gonna go sabian
yeah they dont last as long, but zildjian will replace them all up to a year, and depending how you hit them they can last a while, they sound better then the B8s, but either way thats why i was tellin the guy save up the money for some As or A Customs, at least for XS20s if you wanna go sabian
Well it really depends on what sound you like but in this video I used a zildjian ZBT 14 in crash for my main crash that is to the right of my crash ride and I honestley hate the sound of it.
dude, i dont know if thats comfortable for you but your snare seems too low, and your technique for the rimclicks is a little off. otherwise, solid cover.
In my new videos you can see that i raised my snare, it was getting kinda annoying. And ya my stick started going off to the side on that first part, but on the second part thats just how i play rim clicks.
I wanna thank 1111phil1111 because he was the first person to put up this song as a drum cover and his video really helped me while I was still trying to learn it. If you havn't seen it already just click on the part where it says "this is a video response to". Thanks Phil
I'm not sure I just do. I play heel up and I guess I over do it. I had to put weights surrounding the legs so It wouldn't start moving much during a song.
Awesome. One of the best covers of it I've seen. The quality of this is great too. All your other videos are great. You're in to some great bands. 5 stars

Good at accuracy, the snare drums sounds out of the original Smashing Pumpkins does. Lowered.

Could anyone tell me what a drum fill is and what a ghost note is and what they're both used for?
EminentKnight 2 years ago
good cover but when doing the drum rolls at the beginning im pretty sure like every other one has like a rim shot or something.
Selinedis 2 years ago 3
lol you need to raise your snare lower the hats...it wont make you look so stupid and it will make your hi hat openings sound decent
