Fraternities that don't haze are called "sororities." Hazing is not that bad. If your not tough enough to take it, then your not put out for it and that is what separates independents from greeks. It's like taking some shit now to be treated like royalty and being prepared for the rest of your life later. If they don't haze, it's not a true fraternity, and your getting nothing out of joining. Separates the tough from the weak, and the dominant male from the follower.
there are many other ways to build brotherhood and sisterhood. only if you have the equivalent number of braincells as a hamster would you think hazing's the best way, are you retarded?? come on! the only sisterhood i feel towards people who abused me is a desire to severely torture their children while they watch. the people i consider the closest to me have never hurt me, or threatened to, nor have done either to them. fear of harm, or worse, actual harm fosters a deranged sense of reality.
