would ya know of anyone who has ever had one, I have a friend who has bred a super jungle with a jungle 100% het albino, so among the young hopefully will be some super jungle albino,s, and as far as I am aware these are very rare, If ya google this it is impossible to find any,
hey brian i picked up 1.1 nice jungles today! they are very pretty and orange looking! can't wait to produce a super :) the breeder also said they were 66% het albino! my collection is getting better :)
hey brian asome vid umm can u help me with sum thing i bought a rtb baby at white plains expo last year november, nd on the container she was in it said (PJHJ) so idk if thut ment posible jungle het jungle or sum els thanxx,nd check out my chan when u got the chance thanx again..
I was looking into getting a hog island boa but I was told not to get a boa by my cousin who has bread them before and she said that they are nice snakes but they are more prone to health problems and require alot more financial upkeep then most snakes. Is this true? I really want a hog island they are so beautiful but I don't want to get an animal I can't afford to take care of properly. That's not fair to the snake
@fgs9 oh ok. How often do you feed them? I wanna breed my male at one point but for being 2 years old he's not a very big boa so I feel he should be bulked up a bit more.
@Tydus654 With male snakes, size really has very little to do with their ability to breed. About 50 % of male boas will breed at 18 months old. Once they've become 3 years old most male boas are sexually mature enough to breed. For females that are 6 feet long and at least 10 pounds seems to be the suggested minimum size to breed a female boa. If you e-mail me through my web site I will forward a video I have on You Tube thet will coach you on how to breed baos.

@94madmike hey man i always see those numbers(1.1,1.2) and never know what they mean,
fulforddude 2 months ago
@fulforddude 1.0 is male and 0.1 is female so 1.1 is 1 male and 1 female and 1.2 is 1 male 2 females etc :)

Hey how often do you feed for boas?
Cbob222 1 year ago
@Cbob222 4
I would say that I feed my boas anywhere from once a week to once every 3 weeks depending on size, sex and time of year.

Is he full grown? Please let me know..

@DittoCB
This guy will probably grow another foot in the next 3 years or so, but yes he is sexually mature.

Do most male boas get that big? I have a 2 year old hypo and he's nowhere near that big.
Tydus654 1 year ago
@Tydus654
I feed my boas a little more than most boa breeders. That's why you see that my boas are a little larger than most.

@Tydus654 not only that there is a TON of "red tail boas" you could have a hogg islan it might even have some nic in it could be alot of reasons

@Tydus654
It's all about feeding schedule and size of food items. Most people feed their boas very small food items.
