Sunday, September 25, 2011 We regret to advise you that a veteran Firefighter/Fire Officer, Keith Rankin with the Lancaster Township Fire Department (Lancaster County, PA) died in the Line of Duty this morning. During training earlier today, Keith suffered what is reported to be sudden cardiac death but in spite of his members witnessing the event-and immediate life saving attempts, Keith did not survive. He leaves behind his wife and 2 step daugthers. god speed brother
i just saw a procession this morning for one of our local departments verteran members he was 62 and was very sick he was the guy that started the water rescue team at this department
this is what being a firefighter is all about, the brotherhood and family values.RIP brother.P.S. nysff once a firefighter always a firefighter my brother.

Wow, That actually brought a tear to me.
I really miss being a Firefighter. Worked with a Great bunch of Guy's! But due to a Back injury, I can't.
