  • Genius!

  • Do you have the parts induvidualy? I only have notepad so I cant extract each induvidual part to make it a PDF myself

  • Everyone here is so concerned about the high D, what about the sixteenth note passage at 3:00?

  • I'm in 7th grade, high Ds aren't a challenge. -_-

  • the first trombone part is easy to hit the high notes and i'm a freshman in high school with a great band director

  • I'm in 8th grade, and thats a beast song :D I play Trombone but I haven't learned all the up to the high high note, highest note i learned was E flat, i might be playing bass :D

  • i have been looking for something like this so i can translate it to tuba. But before that i played it on trombone

  • This is so easy. Why are you all complaining? I just started trombone in 8th grade and i am an eight grader. I practiced this over and over, now i can hit the highest note in the music. High G is not hard at all. Just keep pushing yourself for 2-3 hours a day and you can play this without the notes in 2 weeks. Seriously ask yourself are you really into trombone enough to practice like me. If not you are probably not a good diligent trombone player. BTW i am top of the band thanks to this song.

  • "HIGH D HOLY SHITT" lol. on my bass bone i can hit high G so suck it noobs

  • i think you should not have ended with a taaa at the end, but your arrangement

  • some very high note for trombone 1 and 3 :S good thing i can play all does parts :)

  • So, those notes are cake to hit...On a pea shooter :P

  • lol i play trombone and i literally sat her playing it an pausing it for 1 hour and know im playing by thumb

  • Im arranging this for cello atm and this is a very good arrangement however i have discovered some mistakes with chords where u might have a note doubled in a chord and it causes a clash in the chord other then that a great arrangment

  • love this! and im a girl trombonist aswell as a trombone fanatic! TROMBONES/LOW BRASS RULE!

  • This is an amazing arrangement. Good job. I've been playing trombone for almost 9 years now and that is some serious stuff. I'd love to play something like that sounds challenging lol

  • Im the Bass Trombone player.

    My tounge hurts.

  • Well,I play trombone and this is the most professional final countdoun I've ever seen!

  • 3:47 Smiley Face!

  • thats great!

  • i feel like u ended on the wrong chord but i could be wrong....really great job tho and the 1st trombone part is the range of a 1st trombone player although traditionally u would change the clef so it be easier 2 read...but good job none the less

  • well im not a professional at all, but i could play it with a bit of practice, just hope i don't forget key sig like i sometimes do or i might get a bit lost...

  • this is cool :) the 4th trombone part looks kinda boring though

  • Challenge Accepted

  • Holy shit... I don't use the word "epic" very often, but that was epic. Now to find 4 other trombone players :D

  • im not a great trombone [player and i can play that note .. i love this

  • this is pretty easy ive started playing trombone this year and i can play it ihad 1 year of experience on euphonium and the highest note is a d thats pretty easy to hit my highest is a third octive f and im in middle school

  • @noelmejia19

its not sper easy at that speed though

  • @noelmejia19

its not super easy at that speed though

  • Comment removed

  • did you have the tuba versions?

  • Im in 8th grade and i can hit high D's Sometimes too! It's not like blow ur face apart high.

  • hi, i love this arrengment!!! maybe you can send it to me as pdf-file my e-mail is: maestro92@live.de

    thank you! ;)

  • There are 5 good trombones in my class, and we are bored so we were looking for something to play besides easy class music and we found it. nice work :)

  • lol, I play bass trombone in second band, and I can hit those high notes. Sure it's high, but you don't like it, DONT PLAY IT

  • @JasonJesusMuzik lol it must sound like ass-cheeks

  • Love the arrangement, but I would have to say that there are times during this that I had a little trouble hearing the melody (which seems to stay with the 2nd trombone throughout). My advice would be to have everyone else (especially when the trombone 1 goes into the upper range) at around mezzo piano to mezzo forte whie the melody is play forte or even fortissimo. That upper part is going to be naturally louder because of where it is. Great stuff though!

  • sweet arrangement. Do you have the score in a PDF format or something compatible with Sibelius?

  • 99.9% awesome!

I'm not sure about the ending though :O

  • why is it bad to play that high it doesnt ruin your chops

  • actually the highest note i heard was a high C#. Now even though it is not impossible to reach those notes, it is not good for the player to play up there for the entire chart. It ruins the chops of the player. Also, be careful what you assume @Tuba408Bass.

  • yea trombone 5 is either a f attachment trombone or a bass trombone and playing high ds are simple ive played only a year an a halve on trombone and some of my freinds that have played for 4 years cant play an octave higher the key is to practice your scales in octaves everyday from lower octave to mid octave then high octave then you switch em low octave to high , high to low ..lip slurs help too

  • I play trumpet, and high D's aren't that hard.

And to further prove how little I know about trombone, are they really capable of playing that low? or is trombone 5 supposed to be played on a bass trombone?Jw. Props on a great transcription.

  • @JaredtheJaredLong But of course the high d's arent hard for you becuz you've already gotten used to trumpet and hitting lower notes is easier than hitting higher notes........get it? Just think of trumpet being kinda like an octave higher than trombone.

P.S. a D on trombone would actually be ur high E on trumpet

  • So I'm assuming that the majority of the people watching this video arent even trombone players (or good ones), The 1st trombone part is playable by any 1/2nd trombonist in high school with a good teacher who taught them tenor clef and challenged them to learn how to play in the higher range

  • @Tuba408Bass thank you...

  • @Gamecrazy721 By the way...... at 1:22 ....Not possible to gliss from E-natural to C-sharp.......just saying.........Well, unless you have a trombone that goes out to tenth position xD

Well yeah, i didnt mean to criticize ur work or anything, u did a really epic job.

And i actually did my own arrangement of this song too, a few years ago. i'll have to look for it in my old computer......

  • @Michelle137137 you can play that C# in 5th position, so you gliss from 2nd to 5th. Very possible

  • @wortmania497 Ooohhhhh, thank you! i didnt know you could play c# in 5th position, i thought only in second, ya know? well thanks!

  • @Tuba408Bass im in middle school and can play this the high notes included so all u wanna bes shut up

  • @Tuba408Bass well said and you are absolutly right

  • Hi! Very good version! How can you make those videos? I'm a finale user and I would like to know how to do that... to have the score at the same time you can listen to the music.

    Thanks!

  • man this is high i dont understand how you can hit those notes my best is a very bad b flat i mean the one that is like five above the measure and i cant do it very fast although i am just a fresh men in high-school. i might try to play it thought after some practice

  • man this is high i dont understand how you can hit those notes my best is a very bad b flat and i cant do it very fast although i am just a fresh men in high-school. i might try to play it thought after some practice

  • the highest it goes it high bflat yes?

then why are people freaking out lol.

im a girl trombone player and a junior in high school and thats not difficult at all to hit

  • @americassuiteheart1 It acctually goes up to a D, but what ever, two partials higher :) I'm a sophomore and (with practice) can hit high D's pretty decently

  • @Gamecrazy721 sure

  • @Gamecrazy721 actually a D isn't the highest but once you get good at hit the High Bflat regularly the sky is really the limit I know a trombonist that hits an F

  • @americassuiteheart1 I'm on bass and on my 1 1/2 AL mouthpiece, I can grab the C on good days, and a pedal Eb on better days.

  • @americassuiteheart1

I'm a bassBone Naturally and I have no trouble hitting those high D's on my Schilke 60, which is a pretty hard thing to do if you don't practice

  • are those notes even possible to hit

  • @botch1001 Check out previous comments before you ask questions :)

  • as a trombone player myself, i think this is amazing

  • can you save it some different way so that every on who doesn't have finale 2010 can open it without finale reader (Ex. in my case allegro) so that I can edit it to change the parts for my group. Thanks

P.S. This is by far the best finale song on youtube

  • @whstrompwns unfortunitly I don't think there's a way to downgrade it back to finale 2009 (or lower). Of course, if you have the 2010 version of allegro then it should work fine. If anyone knows a way to downgrade finale files, feel free to let me know!

  • @Gamecrazy721 Yeah, I have allegro '07, but thanks anyway

  • @Gamecrazy721 I think that you can save it as .XML but that might not work

  • this is so awesome, thanks!

I've always loved this song, now i can play it on trombone! ^_^

  • I'd like to thank you for making kick ass music :) Coolest parts: 1:05 - 1:28, 1:33 - 1:38, 4:42 - 4:50, 5:06 - 5:16 and really liked the gliss's: 1:23 - 1:25, 2:08 - 2:12, plus the chords throughout the song were beautiful and Jesus Christ almighty how did you think of this 3:00 - 3:32, once i find the time, i'll try to learn that and maybe post it on youtube if its within my skill range. great job!!

  • Great arrangement! this is true headbanger music!

  • This is definitely the best arrangement I've seen, really great work!

  • what trombone can play that high

  • @Antwon7795 Any decent trombone player?

  • @Gamecrazy721 u gotta be fucking kidding...

  • @Gamecrazy721 do you play trombone?

  • @ExTrAChAoTiC Naturaly! Only the worthy can touch it

  • @Gamecrazy721 sorry for the stupid question haha didnt think before I posted, and yea so I play trombone too, wanted to download this, but lol dont want to get that program, itd be nicer if you could make it into a pdf or something

  • @ExTrAChAoTiC A fellow trombone is always praised here :) And it's a tiny program, which takes seconds to install, and it's much more convenient than pdf

  • key of A (F# minor) sounds really good with this song

  • I wish I knew four more trombone players...

  • finale notepad... awesome.

  • how do you play that high =\

  • @STUNCLERIC , it just takes practice. I've been playing for about 4.5 years and I can play up to high D's (which i believe is all this goes up to) But that's just me, and as of now it sounds like crap :P

  • @zzGamecrazy721 oh, i've been playing for 1.5 years and i can go up to the high C, but thats only when i'm lucky and on good dayss. normally only up to a g.. =[

  • @STUNCLERIC Don't worry, it just takes time :)

  • @STUNCLERIC what kind of name is stun cleric... probably some gay maplestory name

  • Its good the only thing I'd have to say is add some dynamics in the beginning all you hear are the whole notes.

  • This is the shit!!!!

  • Or maybe Tubas for the 5th Trombone part

  • @Meltimedia2009 Yeah they can be played, very easily with an F attachment :)

  • Dude, there's like really low notes on the 5th Trombone, Is it possible to be played - Great song though, I would like to play it, but I would prefer for the 5th trombone to be swiched to The Baritone

  • @Meltimedia2009 yeah it can be played by its self or with a trigger

  • dude i love this! good job! do you play trombone too? also, i like the way you wrote it!

  • @leetyler12345 Trombone ftw!

  • is this finale notepad or finale?

  • I believe I wrote this in notepad, before I had finale, but I'm not sure. In either case, Notepad can still open any finale file

  • Why trombone? Saxophone is where it's at!! :-)

  • damn good stuff. I remember playing this in high school X years ago. (edited for embarassment sake)

  • dude were did u get this program?? reply to this as soon as possible please..would really help me out

  • fianle, check description :)

  • this is awesome my band director lets us do section songs at football games if you could get this to me the trombones would most likely do it

  • where is the midi/finale file that u used?

i mean, where did u get it?

  • I made it!

  • This is simply the most professional-looking arrangement of this song I have ever read. I play French Horn but my second favorite of the brasses has always been trombone.

Regardless, your arrangement was actually LONGER than the original, and much more entertaining. Keep up the good work, it's nice to actually hear an arrangement that has original material in it! 5/5

  • Thanks! I needed to end it somehow since the original just faded out, so I just replayed some stuff :D

  • Great arrangement. :)

  • great job!

I will try to arrange it for our brass band and post the result on the Internet :)

just a little thing : I think that the F on the bass line of the 4th bar is natural, not sharp. The chord sounds weird otherwise, doesn't it?

Keep it up anyway! Thx from Paris

  • i agree wit rysoke24 dis is a beautiful arrangement u jus need to listen to da last chord

  • Hmm, I think thats just youtube, cause if you look at it its fine...

  • Pretty great, but the last chord is.. Interesting.

  • would love the sheet music

  • great job i personaly play trombone i know u didnt play it but it was good
