  • E6 going 5 steps on it for the cam then gets up there at least to 60 wth!! And why are u jacking off

  • notice E-6 stepped it up once they saw the camera lol

  • I fell asleep waiting for E6 (E2) to pass by. Zzzzzzzzzzz

  • i can count on that rig to come to my rescue -__-

  • sounds like your masterbaiting into the camera LOL

  • The engine saw they were being filmed and decided to step on it

  • I think that waiting to do the federal till they where right up on the camera!

  • @Rotoray our stations two smeals have rotorays but different lightbars

  • my local fire station is very busy all the time, it get's atleast 1 call a day and i keep hearing it cuz i live practically right infront of it...

  • if you got sirens and the lights going, you gotta haul ass. Who was the driver of that engine? Damn

  • my 2 aged brother will drive it better!)

  • What light is that on the front? A Roto Ray?

  • @marcsw5000 yes they are

  • @marcsw5000 Its ROTARY Eddington Station28 has the exact same rotary light on the front of almost all of their apparatus

  • Is that Palm Beach Garden Fire Dept?

  • whats with the light on the front of the rescue? is it supposed to spin or not?

  • @mestupp527 yea its called a rota ray

  • @FireExplorerPC i asked because i didnt see it spinning. after looking again. its a slow spinner or something.

  • @FireExplorerPC i asked because i didnt see it spinning. after looking again. its a slow spinner or something. and sorry. it was the engine

  • @mestupp527 Its all good, no need to be sorry. lol, but yea some spin faster than others, the roto ray on the Rescue must be an old one.

  • @mestupp527 Its all good, no need to be sorry. But yea most rota rays spin alot faster then the Engine's. Theors is probably old lol.

  • does any 1 no what is the 2nd fire truck is called?

  • @CRAZYROSS99 rescue

  • @mestupp527 thx:)

  • @mestupp527 Thats the 1st truck, the 2nd is an Engine

  • @CRAZYROSS99 The 1st truck is called a Rescue, the 2nd truck is called an Engine

  • what is with that spinny thing i just saw one on a fire truck but it was attached to the q siren

  • What type of airhorn is being used here?

I know the siren is a Q, but don't know the airhorn.

    Is it a Groover??

  • @marcsw5000 sounds like it

  • oh yea palm beach gardens yea!

  • Here in Guatemala, the volunteer have red trucks, and the municipal fire dep has the green-yellow trucks. I also like red, but that is just my preference, the yellowish makes me feel like an airport truck.

  • @jorgechiu

At least the units are not lime green. There is just something wrong with a lime green engine company.

  • Ehh not feeling the colors so much :(

  • nice engine

  • Im afraid to ask what that annoying sound is on the audio track - sounds like a bunch of gophers teething.

  • @TheKingofSlots If you would read the caption, it SAYS that noise was caused by the camera.

  • in Romania needs 2hours to run 5km =))))

  • we can get on two wheels in our rescue, and i had no OHH SHIT!!! handles to grab onto... i was scared rofl

  • The "Lighted Propeller" on the front is a Roto-Ray light, 3 lamps on a spinner device. It is quite the attention grabber, as I saw that in that video right away. Apparently Roro- Rays have been around in the fire service for 50+ years, so its older technology coming back.. Guess the stuff that worked before never truly fades away.

  • @nafco31 the model 200w has the red sealed lamps and the 200 has 2 red sealed lamps and one white lamp

  • What's with the whirlygig thing on the front? Makes it look even more like a mobile christmas tree

  • The whole POINT behind "fire engine red" was notice ability. The same reason they painted school buses yellow, so they would stand out.

Obviously, red, yellow, and green stand out more then white, black, and blue, but each department does what is appropriate for their region.

The only thing that gets me is why that medic has a rot ray, the Q is fine. 9/10 times people won't move for a medic because they can't hear them, that Q will help.

  • Why is there a q on the meduc

  • look. it's over the front bumper.. this.. round...thing :D

  • @theatomicfart1001 Because they put one on there.

  • @theatomicfart1001 because ppl dont move for rescue anymore so they decided to put a q there and it sounds great and moves traffic like no other so can u blame them?

  • having a green fire truck makes about as much sense as painting your eggs white at easter time...hahaha

  • @93C Green, red, white, blue, black what the fucks the difference? they all do the same job..

  • i drove a green truck for 3 years and couldnt stand it... i was so happy when they finally transferred me to a red truck with a black top... its just a personal preference.... no insult intended

  • @93CFD

Actually, I believe the NTSB did tests to see what the most effective color of apparatus was. They determined lime green was, it just never really caught on because red was so traditionally embedded in the fire service.

  • Super!!!!

  • I like the sound .. AHA

  • That's in case their are moron foreigners like you that don't know how to drive.

  • @malbert34 Did your mother teach you to talk that way?

How I am a racist? I don't even know what race you are.

You're the one putting Americans down not me.

  • I agree.

  • lol that sound is so wierd- sometimes when you film a cop with strobes and get within like 5 or 10 feet from it you can hear the pulse in the camera.

  • its called rain

  • Definitely not rain.. the streets are dry.

  • are you taking a long piss, i hear water

  • was your mom driveing the engine?

  • Rotoray....on a '90s International?

  • very nice engines!

  • nice

  • umm is that water i here

  • nice

  • awesome video

  • geez, who was drivin the engine? your grandmother?

  • Comment removed

  • @kevin462 its gotta be the fireman on the firetruck dont care about that ems shit. thats why there on the firetruck not the amberlampse

  • @hlandscaping17 Are you for real? firefighters dont care about EMS? Ems is about 80% of call volume. You better rethink what you say and it would not hurt for you to learn how to spell either.

  • @hlandscaping17 its funny you say that because Firemen are first responders and just about all of them have EMS training, which in your terms would be like a nurse, they stabilize them and get everything set for when the "amberlamps" come, know before you open your mouth lol

  • hahahahaaaa the fire truck is so LOOOOONG backwards!!!! so LOOL

  • why the hell is the other truck behind he should be up to pase

  • Those are beautiful rigs.

  • yup they do look good

  • lol sounds like water in the backround once the second truck comes down the road..... and nice sirens lol sounds like ww2 all over again :P (world war 2)

  • The water like background sound seems to be noise saturation of the camera. These trucks definitely make a loud pitch and the camera isn't that good...

    Regardless, very nice!

  • There drive really slow check the fire units from holland.

  • the rotor ray is a light that you put in front of the grill on the outside though and its really just 3 strobes that spin. they spin or they dont spin.

  • it sounds like there is water running in the background it must be me i am going mad I'm hearing things :P

and can someone tell me what the rotor ray i think that's right what are they a light that flashes and spins I'm guessing I'm Aussie so we don't have all that kind of fancy stuff on our fire trucks.... but i do love the siren 5*s from me :)

  • It has three lights with one of three colors on each and they spin really fast so it looks like there flashing, I might be wrong but I think thats it, one of the Fire Depts have one on there rescue.

  • looks fancy lol such a great idea wish our Aussie fire trucks had something like that

  • they also only spin when the truck is in drive, and stops and just lights up when in park

  • I think there must be a stream or something near there. It's not only you! It is a rotor ray - we don't have them in the UK either.

  • cool

  • A Fire Truck is nothing Without a RotoRay and a Q.

  • or a MARS light instead of the rotoray. I like both.

  • listen to that Q and that airhorn is pretty awsome to.

  • 1) I am a professional FF.

    2) The 'Buy American' culture rather than buy the best product is far worse than any 'Hate everyone who isn't Euro' bandwagon that you wail about.

    3) The Q siren is neither the best, nor the oldest siren there is. Check your facts before infecting the world with your bullshit.

    4) A setup chosen to be aesthetic/cool, rather than practical and effective, is a result of ego not logic.

    5) I am far from fat. In fact, as you're a Yank I'd wager that you were obese yourself.

  • Sorry but the Q + An electronic siren + Short Airhorn bursts will probably be the best at getting the attention of motorists

  • i wanted this on my myspace but no embemd

  • wtf...are you doing like science experiments in the background?

  • Love that Q and rotoray too , Q's are the best sirens fuck electronics + europe sirens . Rotorays are the shit!! 5/5 .

  • and you're the chief of what volunteer department who thinks he knows everything?

  • And you're some sort of professional or are you just another stupid childish european who hops on the 'Hate everyone who isn't Euro' bandwagon? That's what I thought. Don't even try and speak about stuff you obviously have no knowledge of.

The Q siren is the best, and oldest fire engine siren there is. And how does having a light setup and siren cause them to have big egos?

You need to get off your fat ass, get a job and do something practical for society for a change.

  • awesome

  • Yellow and green fire trucks make me sad :(

  • yea same here. firetrucks have to be red with either white or black on the cab and goldleafing and diamond plate. and firefighters must wear the traditional style leather helmets. fuck the gay plastic shit. and black turn-out gear (tan is ok) but no fucking gay LA yellow bullshit.

  • When a roof beam falls on your head and you fucking die then you'll wish you were wearing the 'gay plastic shit' you fucking inbred cunt.

  • nope because the leather will save my life many times over. the plastic shit will crack and melt.

  • You obviously have no idea of materials science whatsoever. You're as good as saying if somewhere where to shoot me, I'd rather wear a leather jacket than a kevlar vest. What a fucking noob, I feel sorry for your inane stupidity mate.

  • AWESOME VID! The roto ray on the engine isn't spinning, but i think it looks good that way.

  • it it just me or is there a water bong go'n in the background

  • lol i reckin your right, ha ha

  • For i sec i thought is was the rotorays...likely no, but who knows.

  • If you were a firefighter or EMT you would understand the need for the sirens and air horns. They are not on the truck for looks, they are there for a reason. As an officer for the company I serve under, if the warning lights are on, the sirens better be to.People complain about the noise day in and day out, but if an emergency vehicle is involved in an accident the first things they look at is the speed of the vehicle and was it using the warning lights and sirens properly.

  • def. agree with hellfighter. when driving code 3 to a call i always encounter dumb people that pop out of nowhere. the sirens are not there to piss people off with noise; theyre there to protect us as we're driving to an ems call or fire, and if something were to happen, one of the 1st questions is always if we had our lights and an audible warning device (aka siren) in use at the time.

  • Whats that dripping noise?

  • Engine siren silent when not needed. Good! (People are tired of needless noise pollution.)

    Also used turn signals. Good!

On the malfunctioning Roto-Ray, do the bulbs flicker?

I thought they illuminate steadily while the array turns.

Remember that a heavy fire truck carrying a heavy load of water can take a while to accelerate.

  • ...his propeller, dude, are you retarded?

  • nator was merely being funny.

  • i see, except he forgot the funny part, and replaced it with pure stupidity

  • no im not retarted it was a joke or dont you have them in cananda....

  • So, you're not retarded, and yet you spell retarded, and Canada wrong. Id say youre pretty low on the IQ scale.

  • you don't see the joke in it do you

  • which unit?

  • unit 6 at .44 the rotoray is stoped

  • is it just me or did that 2nd truck seem like it took forever to go by? lol

  • nice and loud trumpets !!!

  • Q SIRENS RULE!!!!

  • God I want a roto-ray like the ones on both the trucks.

P.S. I know they are illegal to put/use on a car. It'd just be sweet to have.

  • haha i role hbfd but yea no matter what you ave to come to s stop.... and the first truck was booking. but the second one was slow as hell.

  • Correction, Toyota Tundra.

  • Was it me, or did it seem that Ford Ranger was following Engine 6 a little TOO close for a good part of the video?

  • Why does the second Rotoray seem brighter ?

  • i agree with lfdf106, cmarlow 480 is a dumbass for thinking its funny the truck came to a stop, all trucks have to stop at red lights to avoid an accident no matter if their siren and lights are on or not, anybody not stopiing is basically asking for an accident.

  • hey cmarlow480, your so called firefighter friend is an idot! you have to follow the rules of the road, even if you are driving a fire engine! Tell your friend to get a clue.

  • lol thats funny

the truck same to a complete stop.. put on its blinker then turned lol.

  • it stopped because it had a red lights.

    still pretty funny though

  • yeah my firefighter friend in MS was like watch this and tell me whats wrong... at first I thought nothing.. LOL then I saw the truck come to a complete stop and put its turnsignal on I was like wtf you dont have to stop LOL..... They have right of way my firefighter friend was like yep...... we still have to use turn signals but we dont have to stop. lol....

  • even if you dont have to stop. its still a good idea, just to be safe, or at least slow down. just my thoughts though. still a sick video

  • Even if you have an Opticom it's always good to stop, even for a split-second to make sure there are no other emergency vehicles approaching. Granted you do have to rush to an emergency but you also have to be safe so you can get there to begin with.

  • LOOK at the fron of the firetruck it has a cool spinny thing on the front. AND WHA THE FUCK IS THE WATER SOUND THAT TURNS ON WHEN THE SIRENS TURN ON?!

  • The thing that spins is called a Rotoray, the water-dripping sound is something to do with the sound system on the camcorder; not outside.

  • what is that water sound?

  • Nice Fire Truck.German Fire Dep. is not so god :-(

  • DAMM all i hav to say

  • Did someone pee their pants while this was being filmed?

  • Nice video,nice truck!

  • wow that truck will clear the traffic! roto-ray, Q, and great horns all on 1 truck!

  • These trucks sound so great!!!

  • Pinwheels >:-[

  • its to get more attention

  • whats with the spinny thing on the grill

  • its a pinwheel

  • tis was in the us eh? i never seen firetrucks before that was yellow i live in canada

  • MLPS93, Alot of departments where I live have went away from the traditional RED and went to GREEN, YELLOW, and WHITE

  • where do u live

  • Western NC...You?

  • toronto area

  • MLPS93....In Toronto, do you guys use Powercalls and Q? Down here Powercall and Q is the only thing you ever hear

  • we use a q like siren called a whelen executor and no canada does not use powercall.

  • Yeah I've heard of the Whelen X. I didn't really know...I thought maybe you used the HI-LO like they do overseas...silly me lol

  • nooooooo way only rarely do fire chief and amublances use it

  • same here in San Diego

  • Here in the UK fire trucks used to use 2-tone air sirens like they do and still use in continental europe. But in the UK 2-tone has been phased out and now use US made siren consoles in there trucks (But in some areas of the UK 2-tone is still used but, cant be a 100% on that) But it aint HI-LO its either 2-Tone or electronic 2-tone in continental europe, HI-LO came over with the US made siren consoles. But alot of Europe is going in favour of the US siren consoles (again not 100% sure on that)

  • alot of the time yellow trucks are for airport fires, but that is only in some places

  • LILUKIE44...Alot of places that is true but here airport apparatus are RED, guess we are backwards I guess lol

  • thats cool

  • i never knew medics had spinners

  • The airhorns on the ambulances are nice and loud
