  • Guys! Speed isnt everything! Sometimes even slow playing can sound much better than Shredding. It's very important HOW to play.

  • Man, You are THE MAN! You have such a sync, as my meighbour who plays every day for at least 15 years or so... But what mazes me the most is thata strat has to be very low action guitar if you wanna pull this kind of shred on it.. Amazing. really.

  • dude how long did it take u to get good at sweeping? i've been working on it for a long time and idk if its just the action on my guitar, but i really haven't been advancing. all i can do is go really slow.

    I continue to work on and develop my sweeping. I was able to get pretty comforatbke with it within a four to six month span working slowly and keeping everything in time. From there I gradually built the speed up with a metronome or drum machine.

  • most of the scales i used in that improv were harmonic minor and phrygian dominant, technique wise i mixed alternate picking and sweep picking
