They should include multi account features in the new ipad operating system. It's really annoying when u gotta log in and out of emails, facebook, twitter and other sites.

iOS 5 is fine, although apple copied the notification center from android. I think the next iPhone and iPod touch should have larger screens, (4.3 inch preferably) as that would improve the experience greatly. I agree though, with the operating system being largely the same, I find that there is less of a reason to update devices as often. Especially when jailbreaking can get you the same features as the newer devices once yours is no longer supported by apple. Especially now that jailbreaking

The notification center is new to the iphone. It's cool to be a brand fan, for a good reason. That's why I'm not a company fan very long. So much good companies sell good products. Right now I go for lenovo, tommorow maybe Apple or Asus... Who knows?

i can do much more with my jailbroken iphone 4 than any android phones out. with tweak such as ssbsetting, activator, winterboand and many more, i can access settings from anywhere, use finger gestures to open apps, reply to messages while inside another app, and way much more. ios has the potential to be ten times better than android; just look at what the jailbreak community is doing with ios.

I don't see anything wrong with iOS. A better notification system would help but I believe the reason iOS runs so smoothly is bc the slowly build onto the original, making it smooth and more secure. (not that any os is perfectly secure). People just get board to easily and want something new. If apple loaded the iOS down with a bunch of "android like" features, I think it wouldn't run as smooth as it does now. I like the saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it".
No see apple is about usability and reliability so they don't need to have confusing and slow software. When using Android it will feel pretty glitchy on a lot of the smart phones, I mean I don't need my smartphone crashing!

The iPhone 4 is a badass phone. It's design and materials used are top notch. Hpwever, I am bored of iOS and as you said iOS 5 was suppose to be a complete overhaul and it didn't live up to the hype. iOS is just "boring" after using it for 3 years. I'm no fan of jailbreaking because I shouldn't have to jailbreak. Stock Android phone suits my needs and once Android starts making phones as aesthetically pleasing as the iPhone, Apple will be screwed.

Why would iOS change? Millions of people know how to use, and never need to re learn it. Based on recent polls it shows that Android people are happy to be off iOS but miss the seemless integration and interface. Apple has some work to do, but you won't see the interface being all scattered around and random like Android and the software it's OEMs choose to lay on top. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Almost everything you said is wrong. First, if iOS 5 and the iPhone 5 come out at different times, iOS 5 will come out first. iOS 5 will be released in june/july as well as Lion, also the iPhone 5 will come out between june and nov.. Second, of course they are not going to change the OS for the iPad, on updates devices only get hardware upgrades and OS upgrades come out when the new iPhone comes out. The reason the features on the iPad 2 weren't on the 1 were because the technology wasn't there.
My iphone 3g is currently the longest serving phone i have ever had, 4 years and counting. So its hard to switch to an android phone. The iOS certainly needs a lot of improvement especially the notification. I really hope they don't change the usual look. Big icons are so easy on the eye for me.

I'ts like if you buy a new pc.... You'll will have better camera, better hardware... but you'll still have windows 7... Iphone 4 is amazing, you forget to say that records in hd 720 and runs faster....
But you can change to android and have a lot of security problems... search for an article about that.

Learn grammar please. The notification center just tells you of your notifications, androids' lets you turn on and off different things like Wifi. Always at the top of technology? Why is apple just adding decent notifications? Android has has this for years. Not to mention wireless sync. Not to mention live wallpapers. Not to mention widgets, custom home screens, custom lock screens, custom themes and so much more. Apple wasn't the first to have a touchscreen with applications moron.

Android is not just a copy of IOS you fool. The ONLY thing similar is the use of touch screen and taping something to open it. Something that feature phones have had for 10 years. That is something similar. The notification system is stolen. A blind person could tell you that! I love that you believe that because android uses a touch screen it is a copy. I used to be a ifanboy. Then I saw android and I was blown away. The majority of IOS is copied from feature phones.

Ran out of space. There have been phones with touch screen gestures and applications for a long time before apple. The reason android uses touch screen is because its better then using a small D-pad. Android works like ios? give me a break. Android has features that allow you to wave your hand over the proximity sensor and lock your phone. Can IOS do that? I don't think so......

The only thing I've always always ALWAYS wished they had was to ad a variety of different types and methods of unlocking your phone, not just like the boring slide to unlock. I wish they had the option like android type lock screen or like the one on the motorola xoom and stuff like that. I know these options are available if you jailbreak it but idk w.e

Thumbs Up for Apple iOS! Apple rocks because its products are always easy to use, and customers-oriented. And more updates like X Lion, and Cloud are about uniting all the things into one single device, one using experience. What I see in Android phones are a whole bunch of stuffs that are poorly managed. Android does copy stuffs from others A LOT btw, Apple FTW!

I don't see anything wrong with iOS. A better notification system would help but I believe the reason iOS runs so smoothly is bc the slowly build onto the original, making it smooth and more secure. (not that any os is perfectly secure). People just get board to easily and want something new. If apple loaded the iOS down with a bunch of "android like" features, I think it wouldn't run as smooth as it does now. I like the saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it".

If apple doesn't drastically improve iOS 5 I will be buying an Android phone. Android has surpassed iPhone with the new Galaxy S2, the best phone ever created. I could give a fuck less about cloud computing. iOS 5 needs a complete overhaul and iPhone 5 needs a bigger screen. Apple is falling behind

@pennjersey83 sure galaxy has has the best hardware....but android has pretty ok games which doesnt utilize the hardware to its full...so basically no point...games that run on galaxy run pretty smoothly on iphone too...so in the end having a dual core doesnt make a diff..and yea apple does need to get a bigger screen...agreed...m jus tired of playin on a freakin 3.5 inch...jus too small...but we all knw iphone is gnna get an A5 dual core processor so in the end they are gnna end up on same lvl

I sold my iPhone 4 last week and bought an Atrix. Couldnt be happier. When IOS gets widgets that I want and a bigger screen I may consider returning. Cloud computing gives me 0% interest. Maybe 5%

The iPhone 4 is a badass phone. It's design and materials used are top notch. Hpwever, I am bored of iOS and as you said iOS 5 was suppose to be a complete overhaul and it didn't live up to the hype. iOS is just "boring" after using it for 3 years. I'm no fan of jailbreaking because I shouldn't have to jailbreak. Stock Android phone suits my needs and once Android starts making phones as aesthetically pleasing as the iPhone, Apple will be screwed.

Why would iOS change? Millions of people know how to use, and never need to re learn it. Based on recent polls it shows that Android people are happy to be off iOS but miss the seemless integration and interface. Apple has some work to do, but you won't see the interface being all scattered around and random like Android and the software it's OEMs choose to lay on top. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Continued: Android sucks, the UI is horrible, the navigation sucks, and it can take months to get used to. With an iPhone you can just jump right in. The multitasking on an iPhone is perfectly fine, as for the android it really kills battery life. Flash is one of the worst things ever invented. Flash kills battery life and makes devices over heat, on the other hand HTML can completely replace flash. Android is not modern, IT"S CRAP. iOS is very modern. The iPad is the best tablet out there.

Continued: The iPhone OS has changed a lot since the original release. Things they added:
- App Store
- MUCH FASTER
- Major app updates
- Wallpapers
- Multitasking
- Folders
The reason it's still similar to the original is because everybody loves how easy it is to use.
The only thing I agree with you about is the notification system, it is lame, but when it originally came out it was revolutionary. And they are supposed to update it this summer in iOS 5

Almost everything you said is wrong. First, if iOS 5 and the iPhone 5 come out at different times, iOS 5 will come out first. iOS 5 will be released in june/july as well as Lion, also the iPhone 5 will come out between june and nov.. Second, of course they are not going to change the OS for the iPad, on updates devices only get hardware upgrades and OS upgrades come out when the new iPhone comes out. The reason the features on the iPad 2 weren't on the 1 were because the technology wasn't there.

My iphone 3g is currently the longest serving phone i have ever had, 4 years and counting. So its hard to switch to an android phone. The iOS certainly needs a lot of improvement especially the notification. I really hope they don't change the usual look. Big icons are so easy on the eye for me.
