It's so cool and exciting how everybody is speaking Korean around you! (of course, it's Korea afterall!) In Singapore, whenever I hear a Korean person or family speaking Korean, I would get really excited. And in Singapore, we stand on the left side of the escalator. :) People who are in a hurry would walk on the right side. :)

yes, almost always :-) if you're standing on the left side of the escalator, you'll hear 'excuse me' within 10 seconds.. hehe
