@shirkenXCCR Opener, You're Still A Young Man. Mr. Toads Wild Ride is the next one. Ballad is You Can't Fall Up (You Just Fall Down). Squib Cakes Drum Solo. Walk off is Soul With a Capital "S."
I always debate those same two showsas well. One More Time was 92. Unless they did it previous to that as well. In the end this one usually wins it. Today I still find myself humming parts of this show. The trumpet soloists were just that good.
@shawnlshs I always debate those same two shows. Neither I feel has been topped. I liked the Chuck Korea show better at the time because it was harder to play. The challenge made it more fun. But the TOP show came together better. It's the one I find myself humming and singing to myself now almost 20 years later. The music itself is more memorable. even if I found it too easy to play.
Despite the fond memories. Looking back over this video again I am also reminded of another point. Damn we were a very sloppy group when it came to marching. It always bugged me then, and looking back at the video now makes me wince, when I look at the lines or the mis steps.
This was the best show I've ever been a part of. This was my second year at RCC. I did 3 more years after but this show was still my favorite.
Though later shows like West Side Story & Le Miserables were visually more stunning, musically this first time through the Tower Of Power show was and still is awesome!
ok, i admit it! i decided to go to El camino college in L.A, because they had good programs for the visually impaired, and over here in moreno valley, they had not too much, until now! this is shocking! We rock! Go Tigers!
after watching the video i remember now that a few of my friend from highschool played in this show, i remember Nathen Eby was on the snare line and James Cash was on the cymbal line, and Rockin Rikki Sterling was in the pit playing guitar
I Loved this year!!!! It was awesome marching in the Dome!! The Sound was incredible.

I have many debates what year was better...this year, or the year RCC did One More Time Chuck Korea.

I usually lean towards this show. It was the first time in a long time that we/RCC didnt redo someone elses show.
