  • what if u use 20khz?

  • Who are the people who confuse electromagnetism with gravitacional forces ?

Forget that ,you embarass your self and confuse our grandfathers .becouse even a child knows that .When you considere antigravity (is very easy) you must picture what is going on.Massas atracted for G (planet gravity).I can t here explain much more (searl effect)You get antygravity with a masas configuration ,who rotate in a very special way.Is produced in the center.

  • @kbr7ly1 Please make your channel available for public view.

  • It's not levitating, the magnetic field is pushing it to a certain direction, until it changes, and further pushes it, so on and on.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this Unfortunately this design uses a tremendous amount of current and is prone to rapid heating

  • I Love The Video It Can Increase My Knowledge Further experimentation regarding coil size, voltage, frequency, and materials may improve its operation.

  • Steady I Really Like This Video is energized with 120 volts AC (60 Hz) as it rests upon a .50" thick aluminum plate. As a result the coil will levitate as dictated by Lenz's Law.

  • Good, I like that you share this video Unfortunately this design uses a tremendous amount of current and is prone to rapid heating, I wish success always

  • Nice Video e. As a result the coil will levitate as dictated by Lenz's Law That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Further experimentation regarding coil size, voltage, frequency, and materials may improve its operation.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Further experimentation regarding coil size, voltage, frequency, and materials may improve its operation.

  • So that's how ufos been created...

  • DECREASE THE AMPS AND INCREASE THE VOLTS AND CHANGE THE HERTZ

  • If the coil was super-cooled, there would be no heat, right? If so, could we not stick a coil in liquid nitrogen, power it up and have a means of propulsion? Sure, of course this depends on the amount of force generated. Does anyone know how much lift force is produced? What is the ratio? E.g: X power in : X lift

  • clagwell ok look i think i discovered a formula or just something but they say that the earth is a huge magnetic field correct well why dont you try and make a device that can actually levitate along with the earths magnetic field knowing that it could be possible but no one has attempted yet i wounder if you could try it or who ever is in the vid make a device that will levitate with the earths magnetic field that should be enough to make a flying car work along with propulsion and others

  • This is basic magnetism

  • In regard to frame of reference what will support the weight? The pressure of light..the table? Establish a true inertial frame of reference, add weak force asymatry, get the phase timing right, and maybe you can turn it upside down.

Interesting question when you think of all fields (regardless) as a product of "E", a non-divisible constant and therefore a unit of measurement that moves via weak force-strong force quantum interaction observed in an accelerating state. Hang on v-c/c=2.58e5 WFAsy

  • thats basically a degausing ring. we used to make em to demagnitize the face of tv tubes.

  • @theoriginalbrashark 100% Correct. I would imagine if you placed any one of those commercial CRT degaussing rings over a thick flat slab of aluminum, it too would float. If I recall, the older rings had a spring actuated on-off switch that would always revert back to the off position inorder to minimize overheating.

  • I couldn't see this used as any practical use. It takes up too much energy, it's movements are unpredictable and aren't controlled, and it won't have a lot of durability. Otherwise, cool science project thing. meh... there's just too many alternatives out there for what you're trying to prove.. whatever it may be.

  • @ikickz00 No one is trying to prove anything. Its just a demonstration of Lenz's law. Regarding its practicality, all maglev trains operate on this principle.

  • @clagwell snap. good response

  • I live in Soviet Russia, there a lot of snow. Because I can fly at such a thing, and you not. *trollface*

  • Umgh, levitation smoke.

  • Anyone ever read Edward leedSkalnin`s pamphlet on magnetism? He seems to say(forgive me if I am wrong) that magnetism and gravity are the same force and that by introducing large electrical currents into the gravitational field, that EMT forces can be created to move and propel objects etc.

  • lol please use a variac next time so you can dial up the voltage from 0-120 or probably so you wont have to risk overheating those wires and melting the insulation! plus if you use like 12 volts or so you can probably touch it with your hands and see how hot its getting. your coil doesnt have enough inductance and resistance to act as a high enough impedance for that 120 60hz you have going to it. lower the voltage, and you should be gold!

  • Shouldn't you put that coil arround 2 magnet with opposite side brought together? That's what Boyd Bushman said in a video I saw.

  • No imagine this as white orb spheriod.

  • @Juefawn Yes Plasma - Three - each very bright - each a different primary color - seemingly under intelligent control - possible psi connected - capable of very precise and rapid movement in close quarters - moving in at least three dimensions with no apparent means of propulsion - Observed very closely - possible downward pointing lasers used to create events to either inform or misinform - then again - maybe just swamp gas - life changing though because of other anomalies - and you?

  • this is the same effect as if you would have two magnets facing each other with the same magnetic pole. Nothing new.. No antigrawity . Just the force of two magnets..

  • @GhostSKSK If I were you, I would delete that comment before you embarass yourself any further.

  • @clagwell hows it embarrassing its the same exact concept

  • @clagwell I like your vid demo, but what on earth is it that gsksk has mentioned in the responses that is so embarassing. Sounds to me like he's simply mimicking with simplicity the same physics you are demonstrating? Just curious.

  • @GhostSKSK My father tried this when he was studying electronics, it freaked him out because it was on the floor and when he plugged it in it started jumping all over the place. If it is as simple as you put it, please enlighten us all.

  • @GhostSKSK sad sad little man.

  • if we recognize that the earth is like the plate in this demonstration and a ship could be designed to work with the properties of the earth then all we need know is that though things may vary by degrees all things remain relative and it is only their ratio of difference that conveys a noticeable acceleration, the momentum that propels the very wheel work of the universe in its perpetual yearning towards the point of least resistance shall we harness to our highest desires.

  • The coil Lenz itself to the video. It's rising to the occasion.

  • yea it looks like a sub with out the cone

  • Good video demo. Fascinating subject.

How much weight can it lift?

  • Get two of these coils, attach to an old skateboard (minus the wheels) spray it pink and you've got yourself a BTTF 2 'hoverboard'

  • are you using some kind of current limiting device?

  • the reason why its overheating is because magnets dont work well unless you first wet them. they need water to activeate the power attractions

  • You said it tremendous overheating so it will need tremendous cooling for net gain result.?

  • @LandroverB1 Or just separate the coils wires to limit the induction they are throwing at each other.

  • Or try this tech on transportation. The track is a half tub (aluminum plate) and the train is in the shape of a missile (electromagnetic coil). Only two places this "train" can go. Back or forward. The trust is varied, from magnetic propulsion to electric fan motor to rocket or jet trust.

  • @kdunc41 Try this tech on rocket launches. Put some of those ski slopes to good use, instead of breaking up people every day.

  • crude by my standards, but interesting.

  • Use gold next time for the coil but you are going to need a cooling source. They did this at groom lake with some of the Gold from USA treasury dept. Now they are working on propulsion system. This system uses very small amounts of hydrogen molecules and converts the ionized particles from them to energy. Generated power is able to slightly bend the space. Placing the bent space in front causing (rip tide). They call it surfing or sliding. Sliding in the direction of the bend.

  • @kdunc41 So your an expert in groom lake tech he he he.

  • @moya138 No way shape or form. Just know what they are doing. Nothing to do with aliens. May be an X...bert of something else. lol

  • @kdunc41 You mean what i am doing at Area51 today.Tell me then because i am very curio.

  • The AC motor was first patented as a rotating transformer.

  • @GhostSKSK maybe with technology available its a waste, but if a lightning bolt can happen in mid air then perhaps someone could invent a way to create and harness them as they need considering the tremendous power contained in 1 strike.

  • @TheWikkedchef with such power would be the electromagned so strong that it would be attract or repel all mettalic objects in its near distance :-) imagine a plane with a lot of cars and other stuff attracted to the plane hull :-P

  • @GhostSKSK Same with this comment too.

  • @clagwell ?

  • Nothing new. This principe is used in AC electromotors. But its useless for propelyng our planes. The aluminium plate acts as electromagnet . If the space between the coil and aluminium plate would be bigger then the the coil would need more energy to increase its elecromagnetic field. Now imagine that you replace the plate with the earth. How strong electro magnetic field must generated by the coil? Its a waste of energy..

  • @GhostSKSK Nikola Tesla and Ed Leedskalnin have proven otherwise.

  • tI'd like to see different gauge wire being used, from my experiments some will levitate, some will not

found the distilled essence of that principle in not only jumping ring experiments, but also crude versions of MHD propulsion

  • build a ufo then we fucking talk bitch im drunk so dont pay me attention

  • why don't we use it to propel our planes using magnetic core of the Earth?

  • @DjGisME waste of energy

you saw how the wire got really hot

and it would take so much more to have it work

and then very little of the actual magnetic field would co-incide with the earth's

as well as that just imagine the damage the magnets would do anyway

  • clagwell.. if you build a circular containment tube around the coil and fill it with liquid nitrogen that can be circulated to remove the heat it will levitate much longer..

  • Ah yes. The Future Has Chicken.

  • idiots....this is obviously fake...i can see the string pulling it up

  • why are you using ac currect? wouldnt this work because of an electromagnetic feild?

  • @123456789robbie Wow. You just got 10/10 for making question which does not make any sense in so many levels. :D

  • @123456789robbie Because the plate is not a magnet, just a conductor. It's using lenzs law 'A induced current will create a field that opposes the field that created it' i.e so there needs to be a changing field flux and thus an AC current to induct a current in the plate. (making the plate a sort of remote electromagnet)

It could work with DC if the plate was a magnet and you got the poles correct.

Essentially you are confused about what's going on, I hope my answer helps somewhat.

  • what copper wire did u use? 2 mm diameter? or less?

  • @BogdanDorianC its number 22 (i assume that means 22 guage) see decription

  • why would ultraviolet light have the same effect as the aluminum? The effect occurs due to induced eddy currents in the aluminum which create an equal and opposite magnetic field to that of the coil. How would UV light have any sort of similar property?

  • nice music...or sound effect lol

  • pocket ref ftw :)

  • erm i thought the coil would continuously push up, but in this video the coil dipped and randomly went back up, is this because of the Hz of the electricity or because the coil aint percisely 360 degrees or is there a law in physics im currently unaware of?

  • That coil sure heated up a lot - and quickly!

So, I'm not a real physics pro, but if I got this right, increasing the frequency increases the efficiency of the device?

  • great vid thanks for sharing..ppl like u rock....um so this is forsure 100 turn of #22awg magnet wire?..

  • Congratulations also to your creation! So many times I stopped in your channel and watch your video ... ^__^

  • What's the point of this... I want to meet the genius who is trying to post a video on his trail and error discover to anti gravity... NOT REPEATS OF LENZ LAW.

  • @ThyReturner HAHAHA Wow your stupidity amuses me. If one were to discover anti-gravity, youtube would not be the first place to demonstrate it. Plus the description clearly states its lenz law, not "secret diy anti-gravity machine" lol

  • @azterik What are you not talking about?

  • @azterik Where did he claim it was anti-gravity?

  • this is just a electric magnet

  • @TheSaltysack If U show that to people which do not understand how electric magnet works, U can say to them that this is peace of advanced tehnology which is given by god to conquer the Universe XD

  • I could suggest you use a super conductor instead of copper. That being impractical, how about using a circular gas discharge tube, which has negative resistance, such as an overdriven induction lamp?

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • 6 people wish the world was flat again

  • @ndc86mtl I guess you cant please everyone....

  • @clagwell can the lenz law be shown with a coil wound according to rodin's math?

  • @clagwell update, thats now 9 people lol.

  • @ndc86mtl "Who's the other five?"

  • @solidsnorky politicians

  • @solidsnorky A lawyer, a preacher, a banker, and two politicians.

  • @ndc86mtl You believe the world used to be flat?

  • neat. I've always wanted to try this. If the coil was better matched to 60Hz, impedance-wise, would it run cooler?

  • did the ultraviolet light thing work?

  • it looks like the coil ring is possessed!!!

  • One could in principle use deep ultraviolet light to ionize air, and thus make it conductive, taking the place of the aluminum slab.. a sort of an super inefficient air-plasma-jet engine.

  • I love that it starts to cook :O)

  • Does the magnetic field inbetween the aluminum and the base apply the same pressure or force on both? or is it stronger o nthe aluminum?

  • what about heat sink? what kind of lift are you getting?

  • all that being done is an early N tesla experiment

  • fascinating!

  • this is easy to make, but still cool . XD

  • What happens if you don't have the rubber bands holding it down?

  • Why have this music, rather than *speaking* the text that is shown in the video? 8-)

  • interesting to speculate on how ufos fly

  • A superconductor will be the solution and I bet that it already exist.

  • All you have to do is use a 1 million volt tesla coil though a fiber optic coil and it will levitate using the earth instead of an aluminum plate. The tesla coil energy penetrates quartz and also fiber optic wire because it's ordered like a crystalline structure. The fiber optic wire doesn't overheat and the levitation effect can easily be used for large scale crafts.

  • the reason why you get heat in a wire is because an increase in temeperature causes the electric resistance to increase at random oscillations. if you vary the electric resistance fast enough the electric resistance get high but it doesn not produce heat.

that means the coil chould be at as low electric resistance to begin with and at a higher frequencey. there is no big difference between a microwave and a light bulb.

both rely on fast changes in electric resistance between low and high.

  • Thank god you didn't name it anti-gravity :)

  • Wonder what would happen trying this with a Rodin Coil.

  • Star Trek technology Is closer than we think. lol

  • Comment removed

  • mucury and iron shaveings?

  • the the higher the ferquincey the hotter the coil gets... whuts a material that can be super heated an still containe magnativaty??

  • @TiToEZMoney Its actually the other way around. The higher the frequency will cause the coil to heat up less. There are several others who have demonstrated this effect very well on YT.

  • @clagwell yes and no its the amps thats creating the heat, you could use 50,000 V at 10 Hz with 2mA and it would work, but the catch 22 is the more amps the better the magnetic field, and the higher the Hz the better the flux, so the better the lenz law or induction in the Aluminum. but 1 question, i was lost at the end about the ultraviolet light, what did you base that comment off of?

  • @1crazyfocker Increasing frequency doesn't increase magnetic flux; it does increase the rate at which magnetic flux changes. You have the right idea, but you didn't say it right. :)

  • @ElectricGravity nope said it right, BTW flux is short for FLUXUATION meaning to "CHANGE' or move back and forth and thus to "increase the rate" of electrical DC pulses or AC current or HZ the "better the flux" (better the change of magnetic field)or fluxuation, so I said it perfectly. what you said basicly was, (since flux means change) "increase the rate at which magnetic change changes" So your atempt to sound smart really backfired on you huh..FAIL x)

  • @1crazyfocker

Muphry's Law is equally infallible as Lenz's. The word is fluctuation.

  • @emodeca finally!!!! it only took 8 months for someone to get that...

  • @clagwell and as higer the frequensy the lower is current

  • It always surprises me how many people think these experiments are fake!

  • So, you mean using UV to ionize then push away the air? Might work, although you would need a laser.

Will that produce enough thrust to lift itself? Unlikely especially if you add a decent cooling system to the equation.

Although may have some uses as a weapon.

  • This proves that electrogravitic or field propulsion is possible. There vis no doubt about it at all.

  • contain it and add liquid nitrogen :)

  • very cool, reminds me of the pads used in the hovercrafts used in the Matrix

  • Lenz's Law is just a special case of LeChatelier's Principle.

  • Could this be done with permanent magnets?

  • @TheNuclearWatermelon Yes, there is a YT vid showing that very thing. Good luck finding it.

  • doesn't it work because the aluminum is diamagnetic pushing the new magnet away(up). There's a lot of current running through that too by the look of it, I'd bet it can lift a fair bit.

  • I only got to half this video because of the annoying new shit at the bottom of the screen and the ad pop up in the video.

  • @arnold02000 Firstly, YT has done this to EVERY video that has a moderate amont of views. Just like eBay, they cant seem to leave well enough alone. Secondly, you didnt miss out on much !

  • @clagwell I see. That bites

  • @clagwell Youtube does not advertise unless you apply for a partnership program and then choose to advertise on your video. The other time youtube will advertise is if you use unlicensed music. The owner of that music can choose to advertise on anyone who is using their music, and they make the money.

  • @arnold02000 use grease monkey for the bottom pop-up and add-block for the adds works very well.

  • @tomliordos Thanks for the info. I will check that out.

  • @arnold02000 Firefox with Ad Block addon doesn't display the annoying ads.

  • @bobafetthotmail I might switch back to firefox. Thanks for the info.

  • @arnold02000 Chrome also has adblock

  • @arnold02000 Add the following 2 lines to your "hosts" file on your computer (if your using a windows machine). It should be in your C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder on WIndows 7. It tells your browser to look to your own machine for those two web addresses. So the ads dont appear since the browser cant find the link. *** Replace the (_) with a .

    127.0.0.1 googleads(_)g(_)doubleclick(_)net

    127.0.0.1 s0(_)2mdn(_)net

  • @koshus Cool. Thanks.

  • @arnold02000 You can prevent whatever annoys you in a web page, by using Firefox and Adblock Plus.

  • @arnold02000 just click the 'x' on the add..

  • Nice demo but nothing new. Induction motors work using Lenz's law and so do mag-lev trains. This technology has been around for almost a century. Tesla invented the induction motor and others invented the linear induction motors.

  • @sorova Thanks for the post. Maybe you can convince Kraized.

  • @sorova The first patents for induction motors were filed by Charles 'Bridge' Wheatstone well over 100 years ago. Stop saying that Tesla invented everything; he was a born liar and showman, and stole most of his so-called discoveries from others.

  • @flowerbower but Wheatstone's model was too inefficient to be practical. Moreover Tesla invented 3 phase which makes more sense if you want a rotating magnetic field.

  • @sorova Experts in the field give the credit to Galileo Ferraris. This ludicrous Tesla-worship has distorted the entire history of electrical engineering.

  • @flowerbower Nikola Tesla claimed in his autobiography that he identified the concept of the rotating magnetic field in 1882. In 1885, Galileo Ferraris independently researched the concept. In 1888, Tesla gained U.S. Patent 0,381,968 for his work.

  • @sorova So, to give Tesla priority, one has to take the word of someone who promised a death ray, who claimed that he had already discovered X-rays (after Roentgen had announced them) AND used them to transmute base metals into gold, and who claimed that geniuses could read in the dark using the light from their own eyes. I'll pass.

  • @flowerbower Like it or not Tesla is comsidered a genius of his time. Many times in history more than one eprson ahs invented the same thing around the same time. Look at the telephone where at least 2 others lay claim besides Bell. Geniuses are often nutters too. If you met Mozart I doubt you would like him either.

  • @sorova The question is, exactly WHO thinks that he is a genius? Certainly the crackpots do, plus all of the 'internet-educated' laymen who know only what unaccountable websites tell them. But walk into any university library and, apart from the unit of measurement (which should never have been named after him), one is hard put to find any mention of his name in the textbooks and journals. Yes, I would hate Mozart: I am not fond of music, and he was a foul-mouthed moron in every other respect.

  • @flowerbower Nonsense! Three phase is taught at every University in the world that teaches electrical eng and Tesla is mentioned as the inventor. To be true however most engineering textbooks don't mention inventors that much in any case but just get on with the theory. He was also voted the best engineer of all time by the IEEE a while back. That is the professional institution.

  • @sorova I am very well aware of IEEE, and also of the frequent 'flakiness' of electrical engineers. After all, its 'flagship' journal once published a lengthy paranormal paper by Puthoff, and Robert Adams (former head of the NZ chapter) claimed to have invented an over-unity (perpetual motion) machine. So, of course they see nothing wrong with Tesla.

  • @flowerbower Many inventors and scientists made daft claims in those days The difference between Tesla and some of the traditional scientists were that Tesla could convert his thoughts into hardware and make things work. I could give plenty more examples. eg Campbell Swinton "invented" electronic TV - but only in theory. Saying is far easier than doing. To say that it is possible to fly is far different to building a machine that can fly.Engineers make the world, scientists can only dream.

  • @sorova You are shooting yourself in the foot with that line of reasoning: Logie Baird tried a number of silly inventions before moving into TV, and then came up with the most unworkable system imaginable (it was necessary to invent instant cine film-processing as well in order to permit live broadcasting).

As for flight, have you seen Tesla's ludicrous design for a flying-machine?

All scientists are necessarily inventors. 'Career' inventors can never be scientists.

  • @flowerbower I didn't mean Baird, I was refering to electronic scanning TV which has a few claims for the invention. Was it EMI or Campbell Swinton? You can have an idea but it means nothing unless you can demonstrate the principle at least.

Scientists are not inventors. Most of them produce rubbish. Engineers are inventors, that's what they get paid for. The invention of wireless was attributed to Tesla in the US and not Marconi. There are political reasons for this however due to licensing.

  • @sorova "Engineers make the world, scientists can only dream" -Sorova well that post was a brilliant read.

  • @Kraized What are you talking about? This is a very basic demonstration of Lenz's Law just as the title says. There is no trick here. To imply that this is some kind of hoax is saying that the MagLev trains in Europe and Japan are not real.

  • @Longstreet77

Okay. So I went back and reviewed the other video. This guy doesn't take into account Hz (or the fluctuation of current). This experiment would need that in order to create a magnetic field. The first video, however, mentioned frequency towards the end, that video was "UFO-Electromagnetic Levitation Demonstration"

but this guy plugs his coil into the wall and it floats with no restraints.

  • @Longstreet77

So yea, this has to be a hoax. I don't doubt that MagLev trains don't exist or even function accordingly for that matter (I've been on one). In fact, what I'm saying is, this works just like one. It can work with another coil made in the same way, name one side as "top", preferably the same side on both coils, place one coils under the other and remember to reverse the polarity (lol). But seriously reverse the polarity or the coils wouldn't not repel each other.

  • @Kraized You really should listen to Longstreet77 and Sorova. They are absolutely right in what they say. This is 100+ year old technology and is utilized everyday in one way or another. I am not about to replicate this elementary school science project. If you choose to believe this is a "hoax", go right ahead.

  • @0:50 there is a flash light that look like a bong :D

  • Ask and you will always receive. Namaste!
