  • Erm, 'dramatizes' a pretty substantial spinal injury?

Pretty sure we'd all be screaming in agony.

  • yes, piquet, that bastard... that was his luckiest day.

  • mansell always a drama queen

  • True. The pains are for real but he dramatizes it...

  • @22j77 dramatizes?! he has a broken back, the second time I think, the pain must've been almost unbearable!

  • @bubi8894 wasn't a broken back just a concussion, but yeah that must hurt

  • @mouloudo I wouldn't call a crushed vertabrae a concussion....

  • @dave41184 "A heavy qualifying accident at Suzuka in Japan for the penultimate race of the season severely injured Mansell's back (a spinal concussion), and as a result of Mansell absent from the remaining two races" wiki quote

  • @cocacolaholic I'm pretty sure if you'd just backed into a wall at about 90-120 mph and bounced 10-15 feet in the air and slammed back down right on your tailbone, you'd be crying in absolute agony.

Ever hear of a little thing called empathy?

  • @Ferrariman601 yes your right i will be crying like a bitch, but nigel mansell is known to make a meal of things, like when he crashed on the first corner of the belgium grand prix and pretended to be passed out, prof sid watkins tore a muscle running to him and when he got there mansell was perfectly consious and ok

  • ahahahahahhaha

  • I believe this was the second time Mansell broke his back in a crash.

  • once he knew mansell couldn't race, piquet said "I wanted to win it on the track, not like this". Thats as much sympathy as he can muster

  • Piquet trying to look sad...
