  • My goodness this is truly epic..

I'm learning this on my violin, I'm getting the hang of it (or I so thought I was) but when I heard this...my goodness...the crispness of the sound, the smoothness...it's just awe-inspiring.

  • wow... this is... wow

  • I'm trying to learn this on bass.

    Not. Easy.

    The man is a genius.

  • yes , 3 nuns a song it means that someone sings, in this case, it's not appropiate to say song to this wonderful piece

  • I had this on vinyl years ago. On relistening, it sounds overly echo chamber-ish (like many of the current Naxos recordings). But you can't deny the virtuosity and masterful phrasing.

  • Grumiaux was fantastic but I actually think the song is better when played more slowly, especially in the second part it is easy to lose track of the music in he song, anyway that's what me thinks.
