Why is every AMV and abridged series about Gurren Lagann so epic? It's like epic follows this show where ever it goes. If they ever make a live action movie, I don't think even Hollywood could fuck it up, I mean they can make Simon a girl and it'll still be epic.  This show just oozes epicness.

@SinKatt can't wait! I just started making Gurren Lagann amvs I hope to post my first one later this week. But I think yuo really capture one of the more complex "feelings" of the story- how Simon is jealous of Kamina (esp his relationship with Yoko) but still idolizes him. I know thats not what the amv is about but u still were able to capture it PERFECTLY

actually, thats my fave part in the entire series. haha.

I'm a huge TTGL fan, and have made several amvs of my own. I'm really impressed with this, you really understand that a good amv combines the emotion of the song with the show's emotion. A lot of people just slap some music on scenes and call it a day. Great work (:
