  • klyons731 - i have just finished with dr douglas grahams 80/10/10 diet, where he says to eat as much fruit as we desire. Yet here you say that the sugars in fruits will feed the yeast, but really? Sugar from fruit sources? Can you tell me more? I LOVE pears bananas mangos and pineapples....

  • Does these foods are ok for diabetics?

  • @barakfares Hi, I suggest you read the book, The pH Miracle for Diabetes. To answer your question, yes, the foods are ok for diabetics

  • @barakfares diabetes is cureable also, you should research Dr. Max Gerson,

  • If you notice... The MEDIA programs us and force us to get and eat the unhealthy food because they want us sick and unhealthy... I can't tell you how many mcdonalds or fast food commercials I see everyday but I never see anything where they're promoting people and educating people on eating healthy... smh

  • I just got done drinking a super shake of my own, all organic-purified water, banana, tomatoes, golden flax, broccoli, collard greens, kale, apricot seeds(b17) and almond butter- buts theres no way in hell im limiting my protein, epecially eggs, chicken and fish.

  • I am scared of changing to an alkaline diet in case my candia returns as I am told it like alkaline conditions?

  • @poojkhgf

Candida Albicans like the acidic environment. They cannot exist in an alkaline environment. Get some pHydrion 5.5-8.0 paper and monitor you pH levels. test your first morning urine and saline. The urine is the best way to test you pH. Best wishes!

  • @FastEddie19577 Oh I thought the oposite as I read that the reason taking boi yogurt is good was because the bacteria in it are acid forming - I will try and get some ph paper though, thanks

  • @poojkhgf

All meats and all dairy products are acidic. Of the dairy items, yogurt is the lowest in acidity. If your pH levels are normal having organic yogurt or kefir is great. To increase your pH levels, have plenty of vegetables daily, the greener the better. Drink water with lime or lemon juice added. Adding chlorophyll to your water is also great. Consult with a Naturopathic Doctor in your area for guidance. Best wishes!

  • I thought algae is alkalizing? Can someone explain?

  • @IronCobra22 Algae thrives in a "low oxygen, low pH" environment. When I read/listen to Dr. Young's material I think that is the real issue. In this program we are trying to move away from a "low oxygen, low pH" environment. I would recommend getting one of Dr. Young's books at Amazon. They are all good. Best of luck

  • Please give an example of breakfast Thanks

  • Great informative video! I would like a bit more information on the consumption of black tea. It has been mentioned as one of the most powerfully antioxodant tea of all. Your views.

  • Why Algae? I find blue green algae is alkalinizing.

  • Im a sportsmen and play soccer professionally, will switching to this kind of diet have a bad effect on my performance, seeing as i eat many acidic foods?

  • I've been drinking alkaline water for years and I will never go back to drinking soda!! Now I just need to start eating more alkaline foods... I don't eat enough vegetables :(

  • hmm I have been on this kind of similar dieet for a very long time now. My skin and health is allot better although I feel like it's still there (leaky guy). Since a few weeks ive been starting meat again/chicken. Is it oke to start adding that ?

  • garlic has a ph level of 3.3

  • Foods you should eat : Never heard of them

Foods to avoid : Oh, there's my diet lol.

  • Mineral water is alkaline because of disolved calcium, distilled water can be confusing; reverse osmossis is just a very fine filter( in microns)/ distilled should be understood as water vapor recovered such as Smartwater or rain! anyhow hope this helps

  • Why there is no the most important fruit APPLE? Sweet, semi-sweet, suer. It's a king of all fruits and it is not in the list. Another issue is tea. When western people say "tea" you think of very strong black tea (I call it dynamite), with 30 percent of a cup of fat milk and with at least 1 tsp sugar. But how about the same black tea with a slice of lemon? Or even better green tea and its version with lemon? On the other hand we suppose to be 7,5 pH not completely alkaline.

  • Heres a simple check sheet for acid

ANY ANIMAL PRODUCTS cause acid to form in your body

    Stress\smoking\processed foods\alcohol= Acid

  • @fietsvriend I'll pick some of this stuff up! Thanks a lot!

  • Thanks

  • What about apples? Dr. Pagano (Healing Psoriasis: The natural alternative) says they're very alkaline...

  • Are Tofu products or Soy products a Better Substitute for Protein? or is there Better options?

  • Thumbs up if Alkaline Diets

    confuse you?

  • Every other source out there says that distilled water is the most ACIDIC when processed by the body and should only be used when detoxing for short periods. It is DEAD water. Mineral water is alkaline.

  • Great Video Man. Thanks for Posting

  • I am striving toward the alkaline diet but I really like my non-fat milk...is that bad for me too?

Also, surprised to see coconut on the moderate...keep reading it's a "super food."

  • how the heck are you supposed to stop eating all types off bread, you cant eat brown rice 20 times a week, he tells you to eat things that normal people cant get, be realistic mate dont live in a dream world, how can you not dribk MILK!

  • @bloopisify haha really? Milk isn't necessary at all.

  • It's quite surprising that every chart is different to some degree, I mean I've seen charts, where Brazil nuts are listed as acid forming, same with blueberry and others. Lets me think that nobody actually knows for sure

  • I thought cashews were alkaline. I've seen some charts with cashews as alkaline. Are they?

  • Eliminate or limit mushrooms and algae? Really?

  • @monkeyboy07002 Yah, that's Boca burgers and a lot of substitues :( I guess it's worth it though.

  • Do you have to eat some acidic food? Isn't it optimal to go 100% alkaline?

  • This makes so much sense. A green drink in the morning gives you energy and fills you up for HOURS!

  • Seeing this video I would conclude that I am already following this diet.. except for the milk part .. I am not sure I can live without milk.. I drink about a liter a day!

  • Hilarious - my whole main is listed on the "Do not eat or Limit" list. no wonder I always feel like shit. But his diet seems impossible to follow.

  • Thanks for sharing, Ken.

  • When I went across to Glorietta to buy supplies for Mama, and I had the chance to

sample wheatgrass at a supermarket stand where they were giving samples to shoppers to try. I liked the one sweetened by honey. I really did, I was looking for something to watch on youtube regarding wheatgrass, and I stumbled upon this,

which you may already have seen. It's fascinating watch.

  • Good job I love this video . i am already there

  • you forgot to mention HEMP OIL. there is a video about health and good skin. you should search youtube for

    Food Matters Trailer.

    i hope it helps :)

  • 70% of the Earth is water, 70% of humans is water. We're just walking sacks of Mother Earth.

  • People usually think only of the foods they eat and not what they drink...... but one of the most acidic things you can consume is diet soda.... sugar substitutes are the most acid forming thing..... you also want to drink water that has had the chlorine removed.... chlorine is acid forming. Good information here.... thanks for sharing.

  • Im Glad I watched your video ! So much learning thanks :) Please take a look at my videos :)

  • 1 or 2 advocado's a day!? :O

  • LOL. u dont like it? xD

  • @thefullmoon

i dunno..... just seems a lot of fats?

    That's like 14 avocados in a week!

    56 avocado's a month! LOL :)

  • Our tap water is very mineral rich, it has a Ph of 8 or more. Some regions have more acidic water, consequently people in these areas who drink the water have bad teeth.

Algae? Sphirulina is supposed to be incredably good for you. So is seaweed.

Maybe they don't approve of it because it's dried.

  • Cashews???!!!! seriously?!!!

  • it says restrict Algae? But how about Chlorella, a microalgae?

  • I agree. Chlorella is supposed to be really good. Also, so is Kelp (v. alkalizing).

And, soybeans can be pretty unhealthy, even though the video says to eat it as much as you want.

  • Soy is very unhealthy, it's toxic

  • Ever organic soy? I never seem to get the final word on this. Some people say it's not bad. Haven't the Chinese been eating soy forever? It's really hard to tell these days who to trust with information, really.

  • Yes, fermented soy is good tho...like soy sauce because anything harmful is destroyed in fermentation. No actually the chinese only really ate it in times of famine when it's all that there was. Also in japan they eat it with fish because protein with it somehow lessens any damaging effects. New western inventions like soy milk (well they did used to have it before but it was different) are reallly bad.

Do you wnat me to send you a sight with good info?:)

  • Yes, please. Either comment on my channel or send me a link privately, please. Thanks!

  • @meloearth The Chinese ate fermented soy different from what is sold now....fermented soy beans....kinda like fermented foods look it up and check out how people use to eat....highly active enzymatic foods.

  • @22poopoo please scream that from the highest mountain. soy is now everywhere. I don't know where to shop to not buy something with some damn soy in it. so now i make nearly 99% of all my food from scratch.

  • @shakaama I know, but I guess it's good to make 99% of food from scratch. Altho not all soya is bad, if its properly treated, it's just so hard to digest when it's not properly treated (eg fermented) for a start. Small amounts won't harm you, depends on your constitution.

  • @22poopoo just like high fructose corn syrup, on a daily basis, those who don't pay attention consumer copious [meaning entirely too much] of both HFCS and SOY. Soy is now in everything: bread; meat; ice cream; pasta; sauces; juices; waters. It is filler and a way for the food corps to make a killing in profit from turning a raw material into ten times the product. coupled with "pasteurization" [meaning boiling all nutrients and active cultures out of stuff to increase shelf life]

  • @shakaama Yeah I know, you can get a lot of genuinely good produce still tho, well atleast here inBritain.

  • Pretty interesting but from the research I have done in the 10 from watching this video, every single site contradicts each other over the same food types!

  • Yeah tell me about it!

  • What a quack!

  • no no no RAW is a myth it does not have to be raw and NO to broccoli NO to wheat grass. Research Dr. Sebi elecrical foods!

  • Dr. Sebi is the only doctor on the planet that calls wheatgrass a poison along with most all other vegetables. Wheatgrass has been known to do maraculous things to people's health. the molecular structure of chlorophyll is almost identical to our own red blood cells. look up Dr. Brian Clement and the hippocrates health institute. he has actual first hand experience with thousands of patients suffering from disease. plus, he is 60 and looks like he is 40! he must be doing something right.

  • i was wondering about the sunflower seeds? should i get the unsalted ones? because i love the salted sunflower seeds haha

  • the only problem i have with the clue about earth being 70% water and 30% mass. is that most of that water isn't fresh water. Fresh water only makes up 4% of that 70% so how do yo explain that???

  • a curiosity about algae? ive read spirulina is one of the best sea agae greens of all

  • NO!

  • I've heard that drinking distilled water leaches the minerals out of your body, so you don't want to drink it.

  • You're absolutely right. The only times you would want to drink distilled water is when you are fasting or cleansing. Otherwise, you would any simple filtered water. I prefer Poland Spring because they make a good tasting distilled and filtered water. Be sure to read the labels though before you buy bottled water. If it says 'distilled' you only need it when fasting or cleansing. Otherwise, look for simple filtered water.

  • this is physiologically impossible. In our bodies distilled water cleans out our impurities and replenishes the essential nutrient required for human life. Our cells use the organic minerals for body growth and maintenance; however, the impurities that the body cannot make us of are flushed out with distilled water. Distilled water flushes out all the inorganic minerals and pollutants which would otherwise be retained in the body and accumulate in vital organs

  • In opinion of doctor John Christopher It leeches only inorganic minerals like inorganic calcium which you take as your supplement and think you're doing just fine, when it sits on your joints and makes arthretism and so on. Rain water is pretty much distilled and animals drink from puddles, it can't be bad

  • Don't take Calcium supplements .

    Thank you

  • why??

  • I heard that too... any updates on that?

  • couple mistakes.....

  • Thanks Ken

  • the lists of acid-alkaline foods around the net is very different. Im confused.

  • yeah its crazy. gonna have to make a ph scale yourself and do it at home at this rate. not to mention that some things may be acididc but act alkaline in the body (so i hear)

this video lists foods that are labeled alakline that othrs have said is acid. it is confusing, but we should get to the bottom of it instead of stay confused. hopefully mr lyons will help us sort out the conflicts

  • Actually, it's very simple. Just have one or two servings of this green food power I found at Whole Foods Store. Do a google search for Amazing Grass Green Superfood.

  • that doesnt answer my question at all

  • @norskog1 You are not the only one!! I am suffering from gout and internet might me making me suffer more because of this confusion..

  • how come tomatoes and lemons aren't considered as acid foods? also i dont really have the resources but i was wondering what alkaline foods are found on africa that have not been hybrid or tampered by man.

  • dr sebi has written a book, you can order it by calling his office

  • I've read that lemons become alkaline once they are assimilated into the body and it's an interesting concept...but I've felt the acidity of tomatoes, lol :P

  • That's right, our bodies turn some natural acids alkaline.

  • Right. I heard lemons are actually alkaline in the body.

  • Yes that's tue, they are infact VERY alkalising.

  • 1 question protein?

  • Some nuts and seeds actually have more protein gram for gram that red meat. Flaxseed is a good example.

  • try avocadoes for protein

  • chlorella, spirulina, and hemp protein are very good sources for protein and are also alkaline...

  • Well, there goes my coffee! Is there anything we could add to water in order to help to raise the alkaline levels? How about vinigar? I have these pH test strips with which you can measure urine pH level, would that be a good indicator?

  • if you add baking soda to distilled water the ph level will go up

  • what?? algae??? oh no!!!!!! I have just discovered spirulina, and feel much better for it. Is spirulina really bad?

  • This interests me too. I take spirulina, and bluegreen algae, for the purpose of getting more alkaline!

  • lemons are the most alkaline item in a diet the ph of a lemon is 10, lemon juice is a great conductor of electricity

  • how come limes and fresh lemon are on the "foods you can eat freely?" those two are definitely acidic.

  • Lemon and Limes are highly Alkaline. Look it up.

  • @rockdtben They're alkalizing to the blood, but they're acidic in ph which is important to know if you have gerd or stomach ulcers.

  • @rockdtben

just remember to get the juice freshly squeezed <33333

  • Question, where does Oatmeal fall into, acidic or alkaline foods?? And potatoes and brown rice??? Thanks

  • you need to listen to this vid AGAIN BECAUSE THEY MENTION POTATOES IN THE LAST BAD SECTION, AND RICE IS MODERATE

  • Does exercise help cleanse acidity in your body or do anything for the acid/alkaline balance?

  • Absolutely. Any exercise that can get the lymph system moving is good, i.e., rebounding, jogging, walking, etc.

  • i run to work every morning. not because i wanna excersize but only because i wanna reach on time.

i geuss it was actually paying off.

Good job on this video. i have been searching for something like this for ages.

    thanks!

  • I also heard potatoe and carrots are starch foods, also that carrots were created in a lab

  • there is nothing wrong with carrots and potatoes and no they were not created in a lab!

  • Hmmm...you have to eat carrots sparingly? I have heard people of the alkaline lifestyle say that carrot juice is the best fighter of cancer....Potatoes?....I have seen lists online that claim that all vegetables are alkaline and fruit as well besides a very few. Berries and fruit are loaded with anti oxidants. There are a lot of discrepancies online about what food is alkaline and acidic

  • carrots and potatos contain starch wich is a acid not alkali

  • corn and berries are acidic
