If you think Urban Decay Primer Potion is a little expensive, you can try Mac Paint Pot Primer which I believe is a little cheaper. It's amazing! My eyeshadow and eyeliner stays on all day.. I've been wearing perfect eye make-up for like over 12 hours now :) It's worth it!

how much of the primer potion do you apply???? I have oily skin and my eye shadow creases all of the time. The primer works some times and some times it doesn't. Guess it has to be with how much you apply???

One thing I find annoying about this product is that if you keep it in your makeup bag with other products, the paint on the packaging sheds every where... little blobs of purple shed every where. Keep it separately on a shelf somewhere.

I just bought my first shadow primer and it was urban decay, today was the first time using it and iso far 7 hours have passed and tehre's no creasing and the color has stayed in :D i'm in loove with itt!! before my eyeshadow would only last for about 3 hours anf that was it

hi lisa! there's a video by michelle phan on how to completely get every drop of lip gloss out of the tube by soaking the container in warm water so that all the product from the sides would drift to the bottom of the bottle. would you say that that method would work the same way for a bottle of urban decay primer potion?

I have the Painterly paint pot from MAC, and while I find it holds the colour longer, I don't necessarily think it keeps the 'vibrance' of the colour - it tends to be watered down once I put it on. Is UDPP better for that?

Hi Lisa, your makeup is always FLAWLESS! I find that my concealer always creases under my eyes, would the urban decay primer potion stop my concealer from creasing if I apply it below my eyes before applying concealer?

@cancan2233 I have never heard of someone using it that way- you can always give it a try but I thihnk it would make the concealer cakey because it is drying- try somehting like MAC Fast Response cream plus I have a tip for creasing in my foundation tutorial video!  :o)

Alright, I've used UDPP and it almost always creases unless I wear a matte eyeshadow. I'll use Carbon, though, and it will crease. Parfait Amour does as well. I just don't get it. I've used Painterly, and it works pretty well, but still creases when I use darker shades. Any ideas would be appreciated! xoxox

ohhh that is a hard one- I havent run in to that issue- have you tried Too Faced Shadow insurance? It is a bit more creamy- so maybe the UDPP is to drying for your lids? Good Luck!

I like it too but the only problem I have is paint pots still crease on me almost immediately. Ive tried applying the paint pot with a 252 brush but Ive also tried using my fingers and neither one works. I must have very oily eyelids.
