The supreme court is not the last word. They are simply 10 people who we expect to make reasonable interpretations of law following the principles enshrined in the constitution. People, as a last resort, resorting to the the methods prescribed in the Declaration of Independence to right wrongs are the last resort.

Small govt is just a campaign lie. Huge weapon stock pile in our military establishment that is controlled by us controlled our govt. Our govt won't be small unless we vote for someone who can down size them into an appropriate size. This big military establishment is more dangerous to us than be feared by other countries because they are causing other countries building up theirs against us. and many in NATO dragged us into wars with weak countries are actually exposing those dangers to us.

I wanted to repost this, but I can't agree with the last line either. The federal govt. isn't worthless. It has it's proper role according to the Constitution. We, the People have unfortunately have not held our representatives accountable to make sure the Fed. Govt. is doing only what is allowed according to the Constitution.

If you ever update the video, I hope you will reconsider eliminating the last line.

I agree with IN4RP. The federal government is not useless. It has built transportation infrastructure and amassed armies to defend all of the states. @TenthAmendmentCenter: How much larger would the Empires of Japan and Germany have grown in WWII if the states had not agreed that an attack on the territory of Hawai'i was an attack on the US? I suggest that we would not have been as strong apart as we were together. I'm glad the brutal regimes of Tōjō and Hitler never touched this continent.

Nullification is one of the people's defenses against the federal government overstepping its constitutional bounds. This didn't start the civil war, as nullification was a result of another action, and that first action would be accurately called the start of the civil war. The federal government won the war between the states at that time and has since decided it no longer has restraints on its powers and now we are dealing with the beast we have today We need to do something about it.

-we already pay for our own healthcare costs, but opting out will keep us from paying for others and increased taxes if the states refuse to follow any direction of the unlawful healthcare heist. Root for secession. It is the only solution. Bring the core of American principles back by secession and later another compact between the States for protection. Secession would create a literal "free market" for governments. People who like socialized government can move to California, Oregon, New York, etc. Those that like limited government can move to Wyoming, Montana, et al. People can move to those states that best represent their personal philosophy.

It really is the best solution.

I agree with most of the video, except the last line. The government can be dangerous if it oversteps the Constitution, however it's not worthless. It can render itself unusable in its disobedience, but government must exist in some form to carry out the few powers only it can achieve. Like it or not, it's a principle God put into the world. The challenge is keeping Gov. from abusing liberty. And so if we honor God first, then He blesses our nation & our law, and holds our government in check.

The Federal Government was set up by the same founding fathers who thought it prudent to add the first ten amendments to clarify and restrict the constitution. It would be one thing if the feds followed the constitution. but the message of the video is that no matter what you do, who you vote for, what you march for, or who you call - both major parties have been destroying the constitution for years. A new strategy, one that was recommended by the founders for an out-of-control federal government - is what's proposed.

You do understand that the Federal Government is given power by The Constitution and the Constitution was created by the States. This in itself gives the States the power to deem the Federal Government worthless.
